They changed from a 4 week schedule to a 6 week schedule a few issues back.
http://afterlifewitharchie.com/release-schedule/
Looks like issue #5 is supposed to come out on April 16th
Not soon enough.
Issue 4 felt a little slow to me (although it was sad) so hopefully it'll pick back up in issue 5.
Plus, I want more Cheryl/Jason. I know whatever is going on with them is totally taboo but I'm completely in love with that angle.
I wouldn't care if they pushed it back to an 8 week schedule if it meant the stories were longer. The writing has been great, but when half the book is a back-up story . . .

Fresh off his run on Marvel Knights: X-men, Brahm Revel delivered this awesome piece featuring Wolverine claiming the "Iron" Throne:

And Ken Branch has added this beauty to my "Harley Quinn Project" as well:

Just added, X-Factor #92, pg. 18, the 1st appearance of Exodus by Joe Quesada & Al Milgrom.

The first piece in my Harley Quinn Project by Mark Brooks and Rob Hunter
Nice!
If you want the story behind the piece, you should contact Mark. He's on deviantART, Twitter, and Facebook. I'm sure he'd tell you.
Thanks, Travis! I'll try to get hold of him.

Well since I'm about to pay this off next week and should be receiving it soon, I wanted to show my second real 'grail' page.
From Uncanny X-men Annual #9. It will probably be the only Arthur Adams page I ever own. But for the characters featured on the page and one of the best parts of the issue, it's worth it to me.
Whoa. Very nice...
Awesome Selection!
Agreed!

I can't quite place where i've seen that theme before. Will have to ponder.
Maybe on my CAF gallery?

After Val Semeiks delivered some amazing pencils last year for my "Iron" Throne commission series, I knew I would eventually get it inked. Thank you Mr. Gary Martin!

So let's get this straight:
1) Sue is cradle-robbing Reed.
2) Sue is white and the oldest of the four.
3) The Human Torch (Sue's brother) is black.
4) Ben Grimm is a skinny little guy.
WTF is going on here, a multicultural Twilight retcon?
Just for arguements sake:
1) Reed could be a young prodigy
2) Sue could rob the cradle
3) Johnny could be her half brother, step brother or adopted
4) Ben could bulk up with his transformation.
I could deal with most of these changes if the -script and or story are of the highest quality, but all indications are that it's pure mess.

I love theme commissions. There are some awesome ones "out there."
I'd love to see a printed art book for some of these. Sort of like what the 3-Minute Sketchbook Michael Finn did with Hero Initiative a few years ago. Excellent book, you should try to find a copy.
That is an outstanding list, Alex!
I'm particularly fond of this one and this one, too , unfortunately they weren't around when your list was made.

Hello all. Here's my newly framed DPS from MARVELS #3 featuring the Fantastic Four's classic battle with Galactus and Silver Surfer (FF #48-50) in the signature painted style of Alex Ross.
Alex Ross painted pages are incredible in person and this DPS was begging to be displayed. I just got the piece framed using a black leatherette matte and silver-accented wood frame to tie with the huge Silver Surfer image and silver car.
I'm thrilled at the result
Very Nice!

Anyone ever seen this one out in the wild?

Just got my Esad Ribic Silver Surfer: Requiem #4, page 2 splash back from the framer. It turned out so incredible!
Might be a silly question, but is he falling?
They framed it upside down!!!

Cody Schibi's take on the Green Goblin claiming the "Iron" Throne:
What process to you go through when selecting your artists? Haven't heard of many you have chosen and they all have come out so great.
Thanks! Whomever will work the cheapest!!!
Actually, most of them were artists that I have commissioned in the past, so I've been familiar with their work, but some, such as Cody, I just found his work online and thought he might be a good fit. Occasionally I've asked some of the art dealers I know if they may have an artist they represent who would be interested in my theme. That's how Riley Rossmo and Sheldon Vella ended up doing pieces for me. Neither were taking commissions at the time, but both were instantly inspired and came up with very cool pieces. And every now and then, our fellow collectors will suggest an artist to look into. It helps that most of them have been fans of either the books or show as well and I usually give them free reign to pick the character they want to claim the throne. It's been fun!

So after appearing together in Zombieland and Now You See Me, I only have one question: Will Woody Harrelson now be cast as Miss Tessmacher?

...... losing the inspiration I had on the trailer.
So in the future, the Sentinels will be assimilated by the Phalanx!?!

Did I ever show you this its not a commission but I love it anyway
How dare you ruin the purity of this thread!
It's called the "Official" Commission Collecting Thread for a reason!
Take your pretty little published piece here

If you're framing art, museum quality glass is recommended, for storage, a lot of people use portfolios like these from Itoya: Itoya Art Profolio
If you're looking for more art, there's a dealer list in the Original Art Marketplace, as well as members selling pieces. You can also find it on auction sites such as eBay, Comiclink & Heritage.
And most importantly, you should read through this thread for some great advice.
Good luck!

Just added this page to my collection. Kicking off the All-New Trial of Jean Grey, I really loved that Beast's calculations were drawn in by Stuart and didn't rely on today's digital trickery.

Here's another one and it mentions that she's attempting to bulk up for the role.
