Chuck's site is sooooo 70s looking I know, right? Those 70's websites. Man, I remember the first one I ever visited: the Sesame Street website. It was 4 bit, so Big Bird looked like Pac-Man! And Bert and Ernie were playing Pong the whole time! I just got word that Chuck's site has been designed soon after the Enigma code was cracked Laugh all you want. They upgraded fairly recently to add a working search (the old one was terrible). It's much better to navigate now. Actually heres something y'all get a kick out of.. I used to use Milehigh all the time as reference for pricing lolololol OK, not exactly.. But heres how it worked for me.. Say I'd get a lot of 300 Archie Bronze comics which I was absolutely clueless about.. I'd go to Milehigh and look them up. The ones that stick up higher in price than others would be the ones I would look up on eBay and price accordingly.. Because Chuck's website is soooo old, its actually much easier to navigate through, since there's no flash or spam or other things that slow down my PC..Try and do the same with comic book realm and It'll take all day.. Milehigh's website used to show ALL books and their pricing, regardless if they have it or not.. But as of 2 years ago that has changed and now they only show the books they carry in stock

That's a sweet book. I never knew this book commands a premium.. I bought it when it came out and forgot all about it (thumbs u Honestly though, Frazetta The Living Legend is by far a much better book portraying the masters sketch work in my opinion, and surprisingly it never really gained much value.. I also just purchased Frazetta's Sketchbook II HC last month which I love and plan on getting it signed by Spurlock next month

I'll take the 1000:1 on Darkhawk. I'm sure Mantis will appear, but it won't be any type of big deal type reveal. Marvel has so many characters they can work with that it could be anybody. Has Whedon worked on either character? I don't believe so. Because of the large stable of characters Marvel has to work with and the way it made Guardians of the Galaxy into a massive success, I would not be surprised by anything or anybody Marvel or Whedon reveal. Would I lose my mind in excitement over certain characters? Sure. But, would I be surprised the character was introduced? No. I've heard the same rumour a few times and knowing Whedon is involved makes me think it's true. I suspect it's a Whedon written character(s) BUFFY!?!!? I don't think even Whedon can pull that off. I'll bet Runaways make some sort of appearance. 10,000:1 bet its Merc from New Universe

Isn't EW #4 a cameo and Rai #0 a full first appearance of Bloodshot? Is this one of those scenarios where the cameo is worth more due to a lower print run? Similar to Wolverine, Bloodshot makes a full body shot appearance in the last panel in EW#4, however he does not make a cover appearance until EW#5. If Bloodshot was featured on the cover of Rai #0, I would definitely say that book would be the one to get for his first appearance. As of right now, it is still up in the air to see which book the market will choose. The words "similar" "Wolverine" & "Bloodshot" should never exists in one sentence

It got a lot of press because people still went with the misinformation to keep the flip going. Honestly as a seller I would have corrected any heading and information going out as soon as I knew the book is not the death of Don immediately. An honest seller is better than a liar IMO. Good God.. This is the CGC forum, right? ( Opportunistic scumbags looking to turn a quick profit off the uninformed? ) Jebus... The last few I sold were to people who have been in the game for a while ( high number feedbacks )....I think people have it a little wrong, mixing up symptoms for the causes.... A comic is hot because it's limited and everyone is talking about it...We talk about a death a first appearance etc... But it's the Talking that makes it hot, people want to see for themselves, have it for themselves. It does not matter if it's an event that can be written in overstreet.... it matters if there's buzz...So as long as Donatello's mortality is the subject of scrutiny and conversation... Yup.. That was my point exactly, only youre missing the wide press coverage that caused that buzz.. That type of PR for a book is very rare.. EW coverage alone prolly got thousands of interested parties

TMNT 44 is hot because IGN, EW and the likes had coverage of the book. The book got major press. I havent read any press release article which indicated that he is gonna die, nor was the book dubbed - the death of Donatello, nor was it bagged in black. They all suggested that he MAY die, but no one was duped! The reason why this book sold and still is selling so well is because it got alot of press. What followed was a barrage of bloggers informing everyone that Donatello got clipped.. And then obviously everyone on eBay followed suit. I dont think anyone is misinformed.. and I dont see prices of the book dropping This will go down in price just like any other hot book does when it stops being cool. But at this point I suspect that most of those who thought donatello is dead already know that donatello is not dead

2nd & 3rd have been commanding a premium for awhile now. 1st prints are actually starting at $20 on the Bay now which is a first. I can already see what will happen when this season ends if Negan makes an appearance...

Guessing a few are purchasing much quicker that they should without reading second print. Thats a very gentle way of putting it.. Another is.. He never said its a 2nd print!!!!
