  1. Making a bad idea look even worse. Hope this "New Cap" gimmick is over and done with soon +1 Someone needs to slap the soul outta these Marvel exec's
  2. I got 10 @$20 per and they arrived in 2 days from TX to Ohio. Books were packed well and in great shape. GREAT SELLER! I think that seller had 100 sets or something. He really moved tons of them. Wonder how he got em now when their so hot
  3. Nice! Just make sure you communicate with the buyer since you mentioned in the description its a 9.8, Im sure he/she knows, but better be safe than sorry
  4. I guess it's time to sell my personal copy then.. Wow, that's nuts! I mean, great comic to have and lovely condition, but that kind of money?! Heck, I'd be tempted to sell my 9.4. Even at a fraction of that, I'd make some profit. Holy chi...look at the sales curve on this one! Right off the chart! I was tempted to get it at 250, but it went from 200+ to 600 the last minute I was so upset. Still, congrats to the buyer and seller
  5. . Could be BS. Could be a great deal. Got a set of these today. Shipped fast and 1st print on the #2. Surprised. Good for the seller and to all that ordered some. I get no love for mentioning
  6. Looks like Ms Marvel 1 (70s) had a huge influence on the market.. I think that you will see PM&IF48 9.8 listed for triple that amount by the time the TV show airs a trailer
  7. He can always sell them on ebay.. kinda like this
  8. Things like this always reminds me of when Chuckster unearthed Spectacular Spidey #1 (magazine) in NM awhile back.. Those moved rather quickly
  9. People don't know where to look though. How many times do we see people paying higher in auctions than BINs available? There certainly is a fairly high tax for stupidity. I just wouldn't confuse that for an accurate reflection of FMV. I have an almost allergic reaction to shop variants, in particular, as it's the worst example of the "manufactured collectible" aspect of the hobby. That being said, if I have a choice between $25 for the true first appearance of what could end up being a very key character (EoSV 2), or this shop variant, featuring her second cover appearance...um, gee, well...let's just say it's not a close call here. Sooooo true.. Everyone's cashing in on Spider Gwen now, there will be more "manufactured collectible" (I like that term) like these in the future, but the real gem here will always be EOSV #2. Even 2nd prints of this book are moving so quick I cant keep up
  10. I have 10 copies already, but thats a great deal. I think this will grow big, I can see it being a solid 40-50 book in a few months. All that with no movie hype.. Fancy that!
  11. All comics are bagged and boarded on arrival by gloved staff members. So you have gloved staff members, but you don't know you are leaving money on the table. What is glove.. baby dont hurt me.. dont hurt me..no more
  12. Cap America #21 is moving well at 8-10.00, surprised there arent too many listed
  13. First rule of "Moderns that are heating up on ebay!" is there is no "Moderns that are heating up on ebay!"
  14. I'm sure there is a lemming or two out there ready to take the plunge! I refer to them as Heel-Lots
  15. Thats actually a very smart seller and a great deal for the buyer in my opinion win/win
  16. Ok, and what do you think Captain Marvel #1 should be labeled.
