So I just got a copy of Summer/Spidey.. Pretty cool book.. If youre all wondering what it looks like here are a few pics:

It was on last weeks Comic Book Men. Are you serious?? This book always commanded high prices in higher grades, but the comic book men appearance definitely made it more sought after now.

An ad, which is not particularly important. there is a preview in the back of DC Comics Presents 26 that people seem to be paying quite a bit for. and that Malibu Sun issue with the guy in a big red cape with chains seems to command some money as well. I was thinknig exactly that.. Pretty good comparison to Summer/Spidey book as they both are odd books with the character in question on the cover and full preview inside and obviously pre-dated the book. The key questions now are: Will Captain Marvel (The movie) prove to be a hit movie? and whats the print run for Summer/Spidey?? If the answers are: Big and small, you can bet that this odd preview book will be a huge winner.

What came out first Avenging 8 or Summer of Spiderman 1?

When will/will the "When will/will the WALKING DEAD bubble burst?" bubble burst?

Seriously? I thought a 1 inch tear would make a VG grade Blue label..Fine- at the most... but VF?? Its a Marvel premiere #16 Looks new, just the tear f**s it up

Green label yes. That being said I have seen many detached staples on blue label books in the 6.0-7.0 range. I have a NM book but it has a 1 inch tear on back cover, do tears on an otherwise NM book make a qualified label as well?

Doesnt scarcity plays a role in any of these arguments anymore? Havent seem any mention of any print runs on any of the modern cap marvel asm9/previews yet... Anyone?

2 asm #9 (as in - Avenging) and 2 Summer of Spiderman on the census only.. Both 9.8.. any wagers as to how many there will be by next month or 2???

Why is that always the response around here when one can't back up their points otherwise? Get used to that response. How is it The Spider-man Sampler is not the first appearance? It came out in may of 2012, months prior to Avenging 9. At the very least it's the first Danvers as Cap cover. Is it a standalone story, or preview pages? Introducing The New Captain Marvel right on the cover, this is the cover image to Avenging 9 and the first time we see her in the costume and named as Captain Marvel. Looks to me like this freebie is first Danvers as Captain Marvel first costume first Danvers as Cap Marvel cover. I really cannot see how anyone here can dispute this.
