  1. This seems to be heating up to me. Prices are all over the place but looks like 8 or 9 copies sold today.

I am one with the force and the force is with me. I am one with the force and the force is with me. I will fear no evil !

Was on the spec. site. No reason to buy now, wait it out.

But really, was he not the best new character?! Haha

I saw it last night and want to see it again.

  2. The CGC boards have the same stagnant look filled with the same fruit-cakes after a couple decades.

If you cannot see growth, success & the direction CBSI is trending..

    You simply don't want to.

    (

Same old Larry calling people that aren't on his cheerleading squad names.

Goes and gets a ladder to see how how the pedestal is getting.

  3. It looks like the only thing heating up around here is talk about CBSI. (shrug)

You cant have it both ways. In the last 2 days Ive listed at least 10 books on here for discussion.

You gotta have discussion both ways about books. Its a give and take and it requires contributions and discussion.

Some just cant have a discussion and never will learn how. This board is moderated well. Once instigators get strikes again it will go back to normal.

Its not like this thread hasn't seen this before.

    This board is moderated well.

    Hilarious.

One of the many reasons for CBSI's success is the civil forum that they provide.

This board has degraded into an online asylum.

Overall CGC should be ashamed of what this has become.

Your opinion is quite tainted. How many times have you been spanked on here?

  4. Great answer. Well thought out and full of substantive reasoning. Growing up reading Wolverine when he was new, it's really difficult to even have these 2 characters in the same discussion. While she has some cool characteristics, Wolverine epitomized cool in the '70s, '80s, and '90s. He was everything we wanted in a hero and them some. (thumbs u

Sad Marvel had to mess him up and then kill him off.

  5. So many books have "cooled off". Or have they?

I just think that they were pumped so hard at a certain point and now they came to normalcy

Walking Dead #100 2nd Print was a 350.00 book its now flirting with 100.00

    legends 3 9.8 is a 70.00 dollar book used to be 250-300.00

    So sooo many others

What collectors/readers and wise speculators need to do is take a good look at these examples and learn from them

if youre a seller, keep on rolling the dice, keep on pumping. It will take more than a few good words of advice to keep you from playing with fire. Eventually youll get burned. I just hope that you wont take the market with ya

That's because its a second print and/or reprint. It never was worth that elevated price based on website pumpers saying hey look everyone Negan's face is on the cover not just his silhouette on the 1st print. Shrugs maybe one day collectors will learn the difference between 1st and second, third etc reprints. 2c

  6. Call it filler if you want, but it was a quality episode that I enjoyed and I don't even like Tara. You can poke holes into ANY serial tv show if you so desire.

    +1

All these "action junkies" expect every episode to be nothing but action and big budget spending. Its like they want AMC to blow the whole budget for only a few episodes instead of a whole season.

Why would anyone be upset if one of the characters is killed off if they don't feel or see any interactions with the character? Say if Heath died in some crazy over the top way this past episode would anyone care?

This is a drama folks and honestly the reason hardly anyone posts anything positive in this thread or any other lately is because its instantly negative nancied immediately. Every episode is building the story and we now have 5 communities out there to show. If AMC would do 5-10 minutes of cut to Hilltop, Alexandria, Kingdom, Sanctuary, and Ocean (whatever the name) people would complain its all choppy bouncing around too much and not enough dialogue, or characterization, etc etc.

  7. * It was a bit abrupt for Jesus to conclude that Maggie or Sasha would be a better leader than him or Gregory or anyone from the Hilltop for that matter based on that one attack.

    * Enid really believed that Carl just went out for a drive?!?!

    * Jesus automatically followed Sasha's orders to find out where Negan lives without knowing why? And they are hiding it from Maggie?

    * Jesus has to make up for something? As if saving and constantly fighting for Maggie, Sasha and their group wasn't enough?

Did you watch the whole episode?

If Jesus had any marbles in his head he would conclude a tough survivor like Maggie would be 100% more effective than Gregory to lead. (Do you remember back when we first saw the Hilltop and Maggie outsmarted Gregory the first time???) But he didn't come out and say it because its foreshadowing......

Enid smiled at him so I doubt she believed his reason for showing up.

Jesus is a stand up kind of person and he likes fighting to save people. What is so dense about any of this?

Of course I watched it, hence, my observations.

Jesus thinking Maggie would be a great leader for the Hilltop is too abrupt. She's been there for how long, and she doesn't even know the people yet. She doesn't know the place, etc. She just commanded two people to close the gate and drove a tractor. If anything, Sasha showed more leadership than Maggie.

When Enid and Carl were staring at the Saviors at Hilltop's gate and before they eventually made out, Enid remarked to Carl that "You really didn't come out just for a drive didn't you?", implying that she believed him.

Yeah, he's been fighting for Sasha and Maggie since the beginning. I don't get why he has to apologize and why Sasha has to take him up for it.

Any apologist worth his salt can defend these, but at first watch, this would be my knee jerk reaction... no analysis required,

I think Jesus keeps apologizing for Gregory's behavior is because he's a spoon. I mean the leader of this community can't even get the names of his own people to memory let alone anyone else. Anyone and I repeat anyone would make a better leader than him. I'd take Eugene over him any day of the weak. And I think you missed the foreshadowing aspect that has to take place here. This is a drama tv show its not going to tell you everything at once or at a pace that is consistent. You have to just go with the flow sometimes. 2c

  9. Latest episode was disjointed. There were implausible and out-of-character moments.

Isn't that the whole point of showing that these survivors are still human and feel? The Carl & Edith roller skate thing showed them for a few moments they are still young and able to smile / laugh.

On the other side it showed just how spineless Gregory really is. How he tried to sell out Maggie & Sasha because he lost his pair of balls. And the interaction of Jesus and Maggie is needed because the viewers needed to see her after the ordeal from episode 1.

I personally like that each episode this season changes speeds and shows different sides of the main characters. It is a drama after all. 2c

  10. I thought it was just terrible, and I think they're seriously going in the wrong direction on this show. Negan is simply not believable as a bad guy. The quippy, goofy lines that might have read well in the comic sound kind of stupid when they’re delivered out loud onscreen. Negan comes off as more delusional than menacing, like he’s built this empire of people who hate and fear him and it’s not all going to come tumbling down in a matter of weeks.

And we're supposed to believe that Rick - who until this year has shown NO inclination to do this on the show - will be a compromising ?

I rarely get angry when watching a television show, but last night's show made me angry - it was 90 minutes of just .

Not sure you watched the same episode as I did. Negan is funny and menacing at the same time - did Rick & company not see how brutal he can be on when he's pissed off? Did you not see Negan threaten to kill another member unless he got all their guns? And as far as Rick goes yeah he's questioning his entire time as a survivor. So far he's been able to beat back any obstacles in his way but Negan is just too powerful right now and Rick doesn't want to lose any more people until he knows the outcome is achievable. 2c
