  6. Captain America Comics #3 CGC 1.0 unrestored SB pages FIRST STAN LEE WORK IN COMICS EVER $9500 $9200 $8900 $8500 shipped That is $600 less than a BRITTLE incomplete copy sold for a year ago. What?!!
  7. Lets look at the importance of this book. FIRST STAN LEE WORK IN COMICS EVER!! Classic yellow bondage Schomburg cover with the first ever Red Skull cover. The list goes on and on. When I look at more common silver age keys like X-Men #1 which sold 2 years ago in 5.5 condition for less than 5K and are now MORE expensive than what I am asking for this book I think it is craziness. This opportunity to own an entry level complete unrestored copy of this book simply doesn't come around very often as this book isn't changing hands very often in the open market. See any for sale out there? Come on guys what do you want another X-Men 1 or a True Golden Age Mega Grail. Quick chasing the movie hype and get behind a book that will stand the true test of time and be a centerpiece to any collection. Note - I LOVE X-Men #1 hahaha!!
  8. Hey folks, Back at it trying to move the my beloved Captain America Comics #3. My wife and I just found out we are inviting another child into our loves and time to bring in some extra cash. Normal rules apply. Check preferred but will except Paypal. Shipping is to the USA and included in the price. No HOS or Probies please Have done many deals on the boards and most of you have probably seen this book before well I am dropping the price drastically from my last ask in order to get this deal done. No returns on CGC graded books Thanks for looking
  9. that why I stick to low to mid grade, “lookers” Even high grade if that’s your thing but when it comes to multiples from 9.4 to a 9.8 and we are talking tens of thousands of dollars if it doesn’t look better than what’s the point? At some point people will realize this is more a visual and intellectually stimulating medium and not just a # and $ hobby. For some it’s a game though so I’m not judging I just would rather own the book because I love it not just because it has CPR potential.
  10. Added another Pep to my MLJ collection. Schomburg cover. Super neat splash
  11. I still have ALL 10 of my books!!! Made 2 copy changes but the group is intact Have a few changes for sure I definitely be adding a few if not all of these
  12. Gorgeous for the grade, Nice pages, Tougher than nails, Great cover with skull, Bondage, and a swooping superhero!! Not much more you could want out of a book imo!! Very cool!!
  13. thanks RM!! hehe that’s not mine though it belongs to our boy @lpsunburst 😊 I do however own a copy of this awesome book picked it up from our friend @skypinkblu and it still resides in my humble low grade Fox collection where it will remain till the end of time haha!!
  14. I will limp onto the field with this...Had this same copy for years now presents well for the grade with nice OW-White pages which equals keeper for me 😊
  15. A 2.5 with light tan-off white pages recently sold for $1502. Given the uptick in books like these, the rarity, the presentation, and the PQ the asking price will be... $1850 shipped
  16. Hello y’all, Here is an opportunity to own a real Ace up your sleeve. This Super Rare Classic cover presents beautifully and I’m not hesitant to say it may be the nicest 3.0 you or I have ever seen!! It sports brilliant OW-White pages which ain’t too shabby for a book from 1942 and the centering is perfection. Rarely offered for sale as their are only 6 copies on the CGC census. I’m selling only because I recently lucked into another copy that isn’t nearly as pretty but it may have been from the Library of Congress and has a sweet date stamp on it that I really dig. That being said I don’t need 2 copies and I believe we need to share the wealth when it comes to golden age rarites like this so more folks can enjoy them. Onto the Rulez -First I’ll take it in the thread trumps any PM negotiations no matter what that means if you offer me something and I reply with a counter that you haven’t seen yet but like and someone comes along willing to pay full ask the book goes to the person paying full price that took it on the thread. That should clear that up 😁 -Paypal preferred -Shipping is to the USA only and will be via a medium flat rate box which is included in the price. Well packaged -No returns on CGC graded books although if there is a major issue I am easy to talk to and have made many deals on the boards. -Please no HOSers but threadkrapping is always welcome (nothing wrong with a free bumparoo) Ok on with the Show!! Thanks for looking
