I watched that VERY closely brother!! Not a bad result for a slightly brittle 0.5 if I do say so myself!! Wish i would have went after and won that copy honestly I could have almost cornered the market ? I wanted someone else to feel the same thing I do when i hold it though. Good thing my purchase isn’t on GPA I may get ridiculed for being forced to pay 40x guide to bring it home at the time ? If i recall you may have a few books in your collection that are as rare as hens teeth!!

Hey gang, I just wanted to share this. I won't stretch it out into a long story but it makes me proud to be a member of not only the comic book community but of the human race. So I work as an RN at one of the top hospitals in the world and enjoy the opportunity it affords me to take care of some of the sickest people in the world who need our help the most. Recently one our leaders shared with me a story of her son. He is the same age as my son so it really touched me personally. I have never met this young superhero but he was diagnosed with a very rare cancer called alveolar rhabdomyosarcoma. He has had to endure chemo and radiation treatments along with multiple surgeries that included removing one of his eyes to get to the facial tumor this terrible disease has caused. From the pictures I was showed to the story his mother told me he is a HUGE superhero aficionado with Spider-man and Batman being his favorite characters. I myself am not an artist but I wanted to do something special for him in hopes of keeping his head and his morale high because it is my belief that there is no limit to the healing power of being able to keep a positive attitude. I reached out to someone on the boards who I know is a fantastic artist and asked if there was anything he could do and a few short weeks later I received this in the mail all the way from our brothers and sisters up in Canada free of charge!! This is me publicly thanking our very own Artboy99 for doing this and proving to me once again that there are selfless great people out there who are willing to divulge their own valuable time and efforts in hopes of helping others they may never have even met. Thanks again Karl my friend you truly are a REAL LIFE SUPERHERO if there ever was one!!!

Probably my most posted single book. This book just hardly EVER comes up for sale. Just a couple on the CGC census. I often use Heritage as a gauge for GA rarity and they have never sold a copy. Not even one!! When the master of GA rarity himself Jon Berk brought his legendary collection to market it was missing this classic cover book. Not because he didn't have one but because I assume it was one of the few pieces he decided to keep for himself and that in my opinion speaks volumes to not only how hard it is to track down but to the coolness factor as well. This book is just outrageous!! Stunning!!! The fact a paper object 76 years old can look like this with the colors and everything is not at all short of amazing!! What a copy of a very cool and tough book!!

This may seem like a WEIRD outside the box choice to a few of ya’s but I would peg this rarity as my personal favorite. Like Cap 1 we have Adolf getting socked in the kisser. We have not 1 but 2 heroes clad in Red White and Blue and something you don’t see on most covers and that is representation of Allied forces Winston Churchill as well. I love the colors and of course the cover artist. Between the rarity and coolness factor this would be a top choice for me and as you can see my son as well ☺️ So many great ones very difficult to pick just one!! I will say this y’all have some great taste that’s for sure there have already been some doozies posted that are hard to argue against!!
