3 total census copies all blue for this one...I think it’s safe to say this is a tough book

Great book glad to see it found a good home. If I still had it today I probably wouldn’t have sold it and just popped it out and mylar’d it. Happy with my copy but nothing wrong with having 2 right!! Same could be said for a few books I have sold with slight resto. I still don’t prefer it and try to get it removed if possible but i have several books now I am just happy to have any copy. We all have our little preferences which is part of what makes it fun!!

Man these are great looking books and Grimm is off the charts cool on both!! I have a special place in my heart for the ST116 as that is also a book I had in childhood. Got he FF8 first but this came shortly after!!

I only buy books that are extremely rare and brittle!! Classic cover preferred. Not slightly brittle...brittle!! and I make sure there are several flakes in the slab before purchase this way i know it’s at least somewhat accurate. Next i will wait for hundreds of years as the book cracks entirely into many small pieces within the slab. This way i will have a MOSAIC of the once original book. A 1/1 Mosaic Masterpeice stuck within the slab to be preserved for the rest of eternity!!!! ? On a serious note i second Jacks notion of depends on how rare the book is. Presentation is also a factor. If I haven’t seen one for sale and it’s on my want list I will take a stab at it. Maybe upgrade someday if the opportunity presents itself. Btw this ONLY applies to rare Golden Age books. If it’s a silver age book and has brittle anywhere near it I would pass as I know the opportunities to pick up a nicer PQ are always right around the corner.
