  1. Can we submit any of these through our own account and CGC or is it a 3rd party which is really a 4th party
  2. great book, but just cause its rare doesn't make it valuable. It will fetch some nice coin for someone who just has to have it though. To each his own.
  3. I would challenge that, Please show some panels with the Eternals from Red Raven 1 or Captain America 1, or any other book. Don't go by Wiki or what is listed out there, read the books and judge for yourself. Retcons don't matter much anyways
  4. Its a total farce and the person is an @ss, I hate people wasting space on ebay with stuff that isn't intended to sell and it isn't good for the comic hobby in general.
  5. he / she is a total person_who_is_obnoxiously_self-impressed playing the system, why would anything think this is cool?
  6. that's not the best of odds, if I don't fair better than that I will be one pissed off customer and will be done with them for sure.
  7. Take new avengers 8 and deadly class 1 @ 15% off with free shipping and bonus book
  8. that is cool! My best error was a Signature series with signer notes and it was on a blue universal label. Kept it for years until I sent a batch in get new cases and they reslabbed in yellow.
  9. Just seeking input on anyone that has used CCS review services. What has your ratio been on books that were approved after evaluation actually having grade bumps? I know there is no guarantee but wouldn't CCS reputation be on the line for approving books that don't get grade bumps? Have been building a batch of books graded 2004-2010ish that I think are prime candidates for bumps based on visual inspection and grader notes (all higher value books) so thinking about submitting for review. Thanks
  10. Haters gonna hate Good thing about everything after #3 being in dollar bins, reduces the amount of high grade copies out there
  11. Ticket....dang! How about you share the love and sell me some of those;)
  12. I went through and re-read the entire series and referenced everything as if I was researching to do a college paper. It has been a while reading the series so I had to make updates from what I used on my first post which was based on memory (leaving first post for prosperity) . Some articles out there on eternals characters first appearances and CGC labels are just not accurate at all. THIS IS WHY YOU NEED TO READ THE BOOKS NOT THE LABEL. Issue one is a first appearance of "a or an" Eternal, not "the" eternals, the team doesn't' really present itself until issue 5. It however is the first appearance of the Deviants. Same goes with issue 2, it is a first appearance in cameo on last page of "a" Celestial, not the team or species of Celestials. You see Celestial artifacts and a space ship within the first two issues but that sure doesn't constitute a first appearance to me, not even an origin necessarily. Issue 5 & 7 are the most significant books by far, as characters go for both the Eternals and Celestials. Fan favorites will be from those issues if anything Movie wise comes of Eternal's . Don't underestimate Ransak and Karkas as they play very significant roles as well. All in all, hope this helps in your collecting searches! 13. Huge Kirby Fan and before my time as a reader, have to say I leaned towards the 4th world (early bronze) but this was a close alternative later in the period.
  14. Yes it is, I would only get any of these in higher grade
  15. Since I couldn't find a properly placed Eternals thread I thought I would start one since the heat is on and people are loading up on early issues. I wanted to provide some guidance on the key issues so folks can be somewhat educated before just looking for issue #1 & 2 and point out some very important observations. If you actually read these books issue 1 is about the discovery and isn't that great of a book. Issue two has a cameo of a celestial at best (should not be full first appearance). It really starts to get good by issue 5 which contains the fist appearance of several popular and key eternal characters. For clarity, there have been three primary leaders for the eternals over the years and noted below. Ikaris was the first chronological character to appear but Zuras, Sprite and Ikaris were the first (transformed by the Celestials). Thena, Ajak, Druig, and Sersi were active before the Second Host. I have listed # of appearances in Earth 616, to show the significance and staying power of the characters over the comic series and beyond just the Eternals as these characters appeared in other books over the years (some more frequent then others). Revised chart further down in first page of thread (leaving original here for prosperity's sake) Issue Character 1st appearances # of appearances to date Eternals #1 (30 Cent Variant) Eternals: Ikaris (Prime One Leader) 115 Deviants: Kro 67 Eternals #2 (30 Cent Variant) Eternals: Ajak 48 Celestials: Arishem the Judge (in Cameo) 51 Eternals #3 Eternals: Sersi 249 Eternals #4 Celestials: Gammenon the Gatherer 34 Eternals #5 Eternals: Makkari 141 Eternals: Thena (Prime One Leader) 106 Eternals: Zuras (Prime One Leader) 67 Eternals: Domo 13 Eternals #7 Celestials: Jemiah the Analyzer 14 Celestials: Tefral the Surveyor 18 Celestials: One Above All 25 Eternals #8 Ransak the Reject 46 Karkas 48 Eternals #9 Eternals: Sprite 34 Celestials: Eson the Searcher 27 Celestials: Nezarr the Calculator 23 Celestials: Hargen the Measurer 15 Celestials: Oneg the Prober 22 Eternals #11 Eternals: Kingo Sunen 20 Eternals: Druig 33 Eternals: Valkin 20 Eternals #12 (35 Cent Variant) Eternals: Uni-Mind 19 Eternals #13 (35 Cent Variant) Eternals: Gilgamesh (The Forgotten One) 78 Eternals #18 Celestials: Ziran the Tester 44 Eternals Vol 2 1985 #1 Phastos 34
  16. show sucks anymore, it is now for snowflakes. Negan had so much potential....
  17. My favorite comic ever and still is but the tv show just sucks anymore. They should have done a strict adaptation of the comic. I don't understand why they let Gimple continue to ruin such a great property. Does Kirkman not care anymore???
  18. TT 12 has the cover and story that says is the key issue to BWL all day long. The print runs have to be smaller on it then the Dark series that had so many covers
  19. Jeremy Bastian, he attended last year
  20. When will artist alley be posted?
