  1. Ross, You are most welcome!
  2. Incase other link did not work https://www.canvas.net/courses/the-walking-dead
  3. No sure if this was posted yet. I hated every second of school work all the way through my masters but man, I think I need to take this course. 'Walking Dead' online class comes to UC Irvine The next time you binge-watch "The Walking Dead," you could pass it off as homework. The AMC show is now the subject of a free, massive online open course - or MOOC - at the University of California, Irvine. The school partnered with the network and Instructure to craft an eight-week class called “Society, Science, Survival: Lessons from AMC’s ‘The Walking Dead.'" “Fans of the show know that ‘The Walking Dead’ is about more than zombies; it’s about survival, leadership and adapting to situations that are perilous and uncertain,” AMC exec Theresa Beyer said in a statement. “AMC is excited to be the first entertainment group to make the foray into the online education arena through this unique partnership. With guidance from a selection of UC Irvine faculty hailing from the public health, math, physics and social sciences department, the course is expected to not only offer another way to connect during the show's fourth season (which begins October 13) but also "a legitimate educational experience that can be applied even more broadly.” Enrollment in the MOOC is presently open to anyone who's interested in signing up at via http://www.canvas.net/TWD. Classes will be held on Mondays starting October 14 through December 2.
  4. I am assuming comic characters since this is the comic forum Rick Govenor Michonne Carl Shane Tyreese Abe Negan Andrea Glenn HECK ALL OF THEM, who am I kidding
  5. I kept #1-20, 27, 33, 48, 53, 61, 63 and 92. 69 was right on the edge but I was really only keeping for the cover so it went. Thanks for this info. I am really on the edge with some of those
  6. Whats the general consensus on what issues to collect versus just read? Yes, I know 1-10,19,27,33,53,92,etc. My collection got so huge so fast, I have to down scale it a bit and all the variants/reprints got out of control. I am keeping all the keys, but what other issues should I keep? All are cgc 9.8 or higher (don't keep anything less) I have sold off all my cgc 9.6-9.4's over the past year to either upgrage to 9.8's or to reduce my collection. I like some of the semi important issues, but looking for more thoughts, i.e. 13,28,69,83,98 type of issues which are critical to the story and introduce secondary characters. Thanks for help:)
  7. I prefer the original Lucille retailer thank you issue that was signed. Those to me have held their value. The unsigned versus signed is a debate, it is a the same exact book, just one gets a yellow label versus blue label. It would depend which you like better, I wouldn't pay a premium for the unsigned version because it is the same book just not signed.
  8. I would add #69 (one of the best covers, 1st Heath and Alexandria)
  9. Man the last 10 pages of this thread were a lot to take in! Can't wait for Color version of #1 and I might be in the minority but have been hoping for a while they would make the first 48 in Color like the TMNT color classic series. Can't wait for this AOW arc and finally bi-weekly issues! I hope this can continue past this arc with the new team!
  10. I am really glad someone is doing this, I have wanted these stats for 2 years. I will try to get my one white and one black 9.8 numbers this evening.
  11. I have to win one of these, my killer ebay coupon expires today!
  12. I was just gonna say let the frenzy begin in an hour or so now
  13. Please post your feedback from my sales transactions here.
  14. Just asking because my LCS has every printing available besides the 1st prints. Thought maybe the 5th printing was rare because it is green like money
  15. Are any of the Nowhere Men 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th prints worth picking up for collectible value? Lower print runs?
  16. my lcs has two sketch covers 1:25 for $12.50 each and they are nm/mint....worth picking up at this price?
  17. However, I am pretty certain CGC does not recognize these as different. Correct, CGC does not. We as collectors though, do +1
  18. didnt catch that, but auctions always seem to bring more on feebay with TWD books even with the same book listed as a BIN for less.
  19. Still can't wait to see some slabbed EOW. I wonder how many will be 9.9 and above I have only seen minty fresh at my LCS but he bags and boards and holds back all the good stuff and then charges $10 a pop
  20. http://www.ebay.com/itm/281090278138?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649#ht_363wt_1170 this book is finally getting a little respect. I always thought it was under valued. One of my favorite covers from the series and I think is very cool how Rick digs up Shane then has to pop em again. Love seeing the walker style shane! Man I miss him.
  21. I thought I was the only one to notice that! (thumbs u
