  1. Check Jordie Bellaire twitter. I guess she's doin it. So send the art to her I guess. She's got a message on Nate's twitter too.
  2. BIRDMAN! BIRDMAN! sorry had to get that out. For the contest go to page 529 of this thread or NWM tumblr or E S tumblr. I think they're making it easy to miss. So far I've only seen that one picture with the details on page 529. I know it's not a lot to go on and it doesn't say where to tweet the art exactly. I don't know if E S or Nate have twitter but image comics does.
  3. I bet the fan art contest won't get a lot of entries. So if you're good you should enter. Looks like they're not really advertising it. Good luck if anyone gives it a shot!
  4. Thanks for all the info! It's been a while since I read the series or read about all the legal controversy. I may have to track down Warrior #4 Summer Special and Miracleman 3-D #1 or Marvelman Special #1.
  5. @Neeidea Thanks! One more question- All the other Warrior magazine Marvelman stories were reprinted in the 1-24 run by Moore and Gaiman but they just changed the name to Miracleman?
  6. So the Marvelman stuff by Moore in Warrior #4 wasn't in the #1-24 run of Miracleman by Moore and Gaiman right or wrong? It's been a while. Gonna have to reread.
  7. That's how I do. Maybe they'll put up some news on Image's site tomorrow?
  8. Any yalls know about the fan art contest? 3 winners. 1-6 first print books possibly extras. Tweet them. June 1st. I saw it on NWM tumblr and e s tumblr.
  9. I'd love to hear better reasons why people don't like Nowhere Men. My guess would be the time jumping? Which I like. Easy to get a little confused from it. I think there are 3 time periods so far, maybe 2? Maybe the book has too much going on and is kind of all over the place? Which I like. Everything is well written in all the different areas of the stories with in the story. I don't think this is the kind of book you're going to "get" everything the first read through especially if you're only reading one issue every 4 to 6 weeks as it's released. Maybe try rereading the issues. My memory sucks so it helps to read anything 2 to 4 issues at a time. I think the pacing is average to little above average which I think is perfect because there are so many different threads going already. Each issue is really dense. Maybe people get too confused with too many parts of the book and don't want to bother rereading it or are only interested with one of the story lines? I've had lots of things I didn't like at first like music, tv, movies, people, art, or comics etc. and then later on realized how good they were. I'm guessing if you don't like it you're probably not understanding part or parts of it. Talk to me people.
  10. Any yalls take a magnifying glass to page #2 on issue #5 yet? I just went even blinder trying it. Pretty sure it's nothing but I need a bigger one. Heh. Have a good one! Hey I already have a good one...now I'm looking for a longer one!
  11. No more delays. No more delays. No more delays.
  12. Just read #5. Eh, it was.......ok. Translation. Holy effing s!
  13. Please help! Trying to find out the name of an old text based adventure game that was set in the old west. It would show pictures of where you were in the game. At one point you were in a poker game and it showed a picture of someone with a cowboy hat on and their cards up to their face as they were peeking over the top of them. Think you had to blow up the entrance to a cave or mine shaft with dynamite. It was pretty hard back then but if anyone has any ideas please let me know. It may have started off where you were just recovering from being mugged. Any ideas would be awsome.
  14. @ Mysterio--Images website just changed the release date the past couple of days for #6 from May 29th to June 26th. Sucks. #4 already had a reprint released. Better late than cancelled. Stay positive bro. I think they'll stay on track from here on out. If a book kicks as much butts as Nowhere Men I ain't droppin it yo.
  15. Nowhere Men World Corps platinum spinner variant?
  16. @ Jimmy--I searched it on ebay to see if you were serious. Holy Shnikies!
  17. For only 4 issues there is a lot to touch on. Why the band broke up? Whats up with the sick people? And what the Eff to do about the sick people?
  18. @ awakeintheashes - I'm with you on the reasons for the delay. Current release dates are #5 May 22nd. #6 June 26th. Trade July 17th. #7 August 28th. Per imagecomics.com
  19. The eyes cover was used on #3 2nd printing. The #5 cover is in the back of newer image comics where they show current and new releases. August Image solicits http://www.comicbookresources.com/?page=article&id=45527 Has the cover or fake out cover for #7. I'm guessing they will go with that one.
  20. Good point. Once every current grandma moves on to greener pastures Then the bubble will ish the bed.
