  1. Nice piece! I have yet to find any OA for sale. Does anyone know if he's selling any?
  2. I was very happy to add this one to my collection a few days ago... Pretty cool "special guest appearance" (thumbs u
  3. Great Page !!!!! (worship) (worship)
  4. Thanks! I feel REALLY lucky to own page 20. I love the history involved that Matt left it un-finished. Shows the belief in his own work, that he never completed it originally, in hope that he never would have too. Thank goodness it didn't end there!
  5. Thanks! As far as my favorite all-time damned pages, this ranks a close 2nd for me. Right behind a certain sombody's "We will take the book now" page at #1 Cheers!
  6. Cheers! That remark is pretty cool. First time I see one like it. Seeley did a remark on a couple of my books, he usually does a profile of Dana. Norton usually does the ghost-face remark. I have never seen a sketch like that?! That is AWESOME?! Who even cares about that number! The sketch is so cool?! Thanks! with all the great stuff everyone's got here, I figured this one might have been beautiful enough to share. It looks like a small commission request type thing, as she took the time to sketch in pencil then inked, and colored. really like how natural it looks like it should have been there all along.
  7. FAR from a 10/9.9 but I LOVE the re-mark sketch. Seller said 9.0 grade comes from a impacted corner, but none look THAT bad from any scans. I'm hoping there may have been some red ink bleed through that may have contributed to the grade, 9.0 or not, I love the cover re-mark! Any of you other Revival collectors seen many similar re-marks like this? Cheers!
  8. Just arrived today, big thanks too you-know-who! The final panel is finished with an overlay from The Damned issue 5 panel 9 - The picture of Eddie, his Mother, and his Brother. Also, a re-post for this thread - The Damned 1 pgs 13/14/15 - "The Final Deal" Cheers!
  9. Just arrived today from MIND MGMT Headquarters, direct from "The Manager". ISSUE 6 PAGE 2 AND 3 ISSUE 6 PAGE 20 LAST PAGE AND SOME NOTES and INFO FROM MATT. This was to be the original last page, until it was made on-going, then the lower panel was re-drawn to continue the story. Cheers!
  10. Those pages are GReAT! To say I'm jealous of those is an understatement! Beautiful OA collection overall you got going. Cheers!
  11. Some of my new favorites. HUGE thanks to all that helped me track these down. Modern Death's Head. One of my all-time favorite TSG scenes, No guns? No problem. Drake is the man! Cheers!
  12. Some of my new favorites. HUGE thanks to all that helped me track these down. Modern Death's Head. Thanos and the Guardians of the Galaxy One of my all-time favorite TSG scenes, No guns? No problem. Drake is the man! Just one last job for Eddie..... Cant get enough of MIND MGMT! Matts watercolors are amazing. Loved this scene the moment I read it, many thanks to Matt and Sharlene for letting it go. I have three more MIND MGMT favorites on the way any day now.... Cheers!
  13. Side Note: I love his comment "comic is in grading condition"....... Isn't EVERY comic in grading condition? (i.e. it's POSSIBLE to be graded.) There is a full page advertisement for GOTG on the last page of AC 6. No GOTG team is in the story itself. So if you are one to consider previews/advertisements first appearances, than I guess this would qualify. 1st full appearance is GOTG #1.
  14. Can you ask Chris the "who/what/where/when/why" on FG Original Art? I'm sure all of us would love to know
  15. Thanks, I love the art in the Damned so much I can't stop myself from buying more!!!! +1, really nice pages. The pages with the Verlochin (2nd page posted) are some of my favorites in the series from an artistic point of view. The way they are drawn with their teeth and eyes popping out of the darkness looks particularly menacing. If that's the case, wait till you see what I've got coming in the mail shortly....it'll blow your socks off. From issue #5, perchance? Yep, you guessed it.....the bedroom scene where they're all coming out of the darkness...issue #5 pg. 18. "Good evening....we'll take the book now if you don't mind." Can't freaking wait for it.....I'm salivating hardcore! I saw it pop up on his site this morning, but was gone by the time I finished submitting the request. Great pick-up, best page in the series.
  16. Wow, that cover #13 is A-MAZING! Snagged this Gem the other day, Sharlene was cool enough to posted a picture of him signing it before it went out yesterday! One of my favorite dialog pages as the team is formed. I collect a lot of my original art based on the scene/dialog/moment Cheers!
  17. We would take him for league minimum, would be a good practice squad player. He could tell our youngsters horror stories about getting beat HUGE in the final minutes of big games. Proud Packers Owner since 1997
  18. Gross. A lot of cash for a book that now comes with an STD.
  19. Can somebody explain why AC #6 gets love right now? Have people actually read the book? It IS NOT the 1st appearance of the current guardians team, I got rid of mine ASAP when people started buyer AC 6 for no reason. it does feature the first "team" starlord leads, being forced by the kree, using "criminals" like rocket, groot, deathbird, mr universe, mantis and bug. But even that teams 1st appearance and story is starlord conquest #1. AC 6 only hints at the Guardians of the Galaxy in the end with starlord telling nova that he wants to take a more proactive stance. No firsts of any team happen in AC 6. The "movie" and current run Guardians teams 1st appearance is guardians #1 abbett/landing, where they are joined mid-mission and we find starlord used mantis to trick them into getting together. Just saying...
  20. Can not agree more with Elephantmen, love the books, Unnatural selections is hard to find, Even the reprint in #0 is rare as well. Had a "why no movie love" conversation yesterday, both agreed would take big $$$ to do it right, and just not popular enough like transformers with a built in following to support the cash. Anyway, MARVEL LONGSHOTS AND SLEEPERS here are some Marvel sleepers I have been following for some time that seem to be getting no/little interest sales wise beyond close to cover.. I know it takes time for character books to catch on (I was up to 100 copies of New X-Men 128 before it broke the $15 mark) in no order.. Web of Spider-man #119 -1st Kaine / current scarlet spider Incredible Hulk 338 - 1st Mercy via thunderbolts - McFarlane issue gets it 10 bucks base. Invaders #1 (1992?) - 1st Dr. Nemesis / x-men Young avengers - I like the new book, proud of marvel to have gay characters and not make a big deal out of it. Young avengers #1 - first Kate Bishop, Wiccan, Hulkling Thor #617 - 1st Kid Loki Marvel Boy #1 - 1st, well, marvel boy. Vengence #1 - 1st Miss America Chavez - Could be a huge sleeper, marvel pushing this character pretty big. Runaways Vol 2 #2 - 1st Victor Mancha - Kid Ultron - also lots of marvel push. Secret Warriors #4 - 1st Edin Fesii - Manifold from Hickmans Avengers. Another new heavy use character. Amazing Fantasy #15 (Modern) - 1st Amadeus Cho Mastermind - didn't like this kid, like him better a little older in Savage Wolverine. New X-men #134 - 1st Quire - kid omega - no love yet?? Captain America #362 - 1st FULL Crossbones - 360 is a one page cameo, more like amazing 299/hulk 180. 362 is first full appearance with intro to character and cover app, more like amazing 300/hulk181., just saying. Any Thoughts? Cheers.
  21. EVEN BETTER! I had to buy mine, getting that one in person is the best part of that book! Cant wait to be back in Portland and have access to that kind of experience. Cheers!
  22. AWSOME!!!!!! just when I thought it couldn't get any better....
  23. Nice! Grab your dogs and go out and get em! For real.....not to far off from the truth. still FEET of snow on the ground here. Lame....
  24. I love being in Alaska and the last to buy and read. On the flip side, my store is just opening, 4 hours after east coast is already sold out of any new Wednesday short printed barn burners...
  25. I am in a sharing mood this morning. Newest pick-ups. Lyme sketch and a "Scar" signature, fits the concept perfect! Cheers!
