Me too. Always a top of the pile read. -

Planetary-all of them. Nearly the entire run pays homage to the history of comics up to the date they were printed. Exceptional series and covers.

Image Display logo variants print run
the authority replied to peterm12772's topic in Modern Age Comic Books
This was the basic look, the i logo with 3 stars on each side. They were not in every comic shop but 1 shop here usually had several of them in those cardboard display cases for a very short period of time. I remember Wytches #2 having the logo. Unfortunately, no idea on how many or even why only certain shops received them. -

Due to being busy, I just now read issues #39 and #40. Absolutely outstanding. While the foreshadowing in this story has long been present, it is bittersweet that we can see the beginning of the end. On a side note, when we moved, my wife asked which books I'd keep if we needed to make room. I laughed because fortunately, for the moment,we don't need to make room. The books I chose off the top of my head were The Authority volume #1 with crossovers. I now own 6 boxes of these. Planetary, which takes up over 3 boxes. East of West. All of my Frank Miller stuff, Alan Moore, Grant Morrison, and Mark Millar. That's where I'd go if need be. Tells you how I feel about this book. Super special. 😊

Moderns that are heating up on ebay!

I've not visited in a month or 2 other than some very brief thread reads. Hello everybody Hope everyone is well. I've been either getting ready for a move, moving, or setting up our new ( to me ) house. Watching my daughter play ball or play ball myself when I can and working nearly every minute that I'm not doing any of the list above. So the first thing I notice is that Black Hammer is doing well. Couldn't be happier. It's a fun book and I liked it so much that I bought a lot of them. Just need to find them. Haha. 😂. Awax got me hooked with a few of the SDCC #1s. I unfortunately sold 3 CGC 9.8s for less than $150 a while back but like many say, you can't lose money making money. I'm pleased. Thanks Geoff 👍🏻 I dont have a lot to add to add but I will as soon as catch up on my reading. Read my first 2 books in a while tonight. So happy to be able to get back it. -
Pre-Heat Speculation Thread - Get it before it gets HOT

The Secret Service movies have been fantastic. Just plain old fun to watch stories. Jupiter’s Legacy could be amazing as could Jupiter’s Legacy 2. I’d rate them nearly as high as my personal favorite team books. Stormwatch/The Authority by Ellis/Millar Kingdom Come Morrison Waid JLA and JSA by Geoff Johns -

I watched the Punisher a few weeks ago and saw his name in the credits. The show is very well made. I was very happy for him. I love the guy. Todd is still one of my series ever and always will be. A+ laugh out loud funny ? -
