  10. I may even have missed some. That was just off the top of my head.
  11. Ah, the good ol' days! I miss them. Yeah, I used to wonder why no one else was going after this stuff. I feel like competition was light for years. Different story now.
  12. The high-grade Batwoman Weird Tales sold for $12,100 with buyer's premium. That's all I've heard.
  13. Yes, a little high. But honestly, pulp grading is the wild west right now, and has been for years.
  14. Agreed, except for Sunday, which was pretty busy early on. Several people commented they had never seen so many people there on Sunday.
  15. Very nice report! I love the personal touches and how you identify everyone. But you missed both me and John Gunnison, two of the biggest pulp walls there.
  16. Well, the 1st issue of Popular from 1903 is the first pulp with a four color cover, so yes, you're right, Populars from this era were ahead of their time.
  17. Amazing items in the auctions, Doug. The hits just keep coming. Wow!
  18. I only took some pics of my setup today. I'll try to take some more of the room tomorrow.
  19. And...it predates the Dynamic Science, which I thought was the first pulp Hitler cover.
  20. Cool, I never noticed that one before.
  21. Weird Tales, Jul 1941 OK, obviously not a Hitler cover (but that is a self-portrait of Hannes Bok), but this book is important for the story "I Killed Hitler" by Ralph Milne Farley (Roger Sherman Hoar). It's the very first story about travelling back in time to kill young Hitler. Note the date of publication, July 1941, well before Pearl Harbor. And it was probably on the newsstands in May, certainly by June, which means it was probably written in late 1940 or early 1941. Oh, and there's also a story called "The Shadow over Innsmouth" (pt 2) by some guy called Lovecraft.
