I went with the the unpainted version. Its gonna look great mounted next to my framed "Death of Bernie" page. Come to think of it, I'm calling TM to request a "Death of Bernie" resin statue. Every hero deserves the respect and solidarity of a statue.

I actually had a deal on the table for my 5.5 last Friday that fell through on the buyer's end at the very end. So never say never. It would have been a record sale for the grade, as far as I know. edit: Sorry about the aneurisms...

I felt the exact same way after I watched it today. The character was very well represented, and the effects were perfect. So much happened in the 47 minutes I had to re-watch it twice. Lots of spoilers that I won't leave here, but I feel that Zoom will be the key to it all.

Based on the honesty of the boardie sellers the last few pages, you can create a pretty good price chart on your own. And based on that data, the approx price of each book is cheaper than it will be in 4-5 months, when the tv show hits, by approximately 10-15% for lower grades and 5-10% for higher grades. The scarcity of the book will keep them moving forward under their own merit towards a new pricing plateau with much less upward volatility in the next few years. The only way it could go volatile again is with a successful movie, to garner more exposure/buyers like the Marvel keys. The reaction of the crowd seeing the tv show pilot at SDCC will be huge to future of the character in the public eye as well.

Oh well, 80.99 finish. I ended up with 157 views and 36 watchers. BIN's are still going strong at $100+. There is no such thing as too much money, but you can't go broke making a profit either.

With 33 watchers and 130 views, I hope I have some snipers at the end of the auction in an hour.....
