  1. Got some books back that I'd like to share. Two are from a DWC / McFarlane signing and one was a purchase from a fellow boardie. Enjoy! DETECTIVE COMICS #576 (9.2) signed by Todd McFarlane BATMAN #423 (9.2) signed by Todd McFarlane FANTASTIC FOUR #250 (9.0) signed by John Byrne
  2. I was hoping to get a witness for a siging Warren Ellis did at Forbidden Planet NYC but that never panned out. A shame if you ask me. That would've been a great opportunity for a 3rd party CGC SS service to take advantage of considering the last time he was in NYC was over 15 years ago for a signing at Jim Hanley's original 33rd Street location in Manhattan.
  3. Absolutely love the fact you got all three on this great cover! Good Work!!!
  4. HA! All I'm missing is Terry Austin's Signature and the Quartet will be complete!
  5. I just wish Steranko did more work but the Big Two don't want to experiment with the comic book medium the way Steranko does. He's all about pushing beyond the panels and I hope he gets to do more work before he passes on.
  6. A great guest list and careful planning helps. If I had more cash I would have had Nicieza & Liefeld sign my New Mutants 98 but Liefeld left the con Saturday to fly back to Cali and Nicieza was only showing up to a panel on Sunday morning. NYCC was a difficult show. They had a satellite CGC table in the Artist Alley (by the entrance) assisting with processing CGC orders but it was one man doing it. He had a number of witnesses assisting him but he was the only one down there processing orders from people who had stacks upon stacks of books. At one point, they wanted to charge me for any add'l sigs on a book and for escorting me to the main CGC table. That was news to me to say the least. Hoping to do more quality signings in the new year.
  7. Got quite a few back from Baltimore Comic Con 2013 as well as NYCC 2013. Enjoy! CAMEO OF APOCALYPSE signed by Rubinstein & Frenz 1st APP OF APOCALYPSE signed by L. Simonson, McLeod, Rubinstein & Frenz 1st APP OF MR. SINISTER signed by Silvestri, Claremont & Green Signed by Giffen, DeMatteis & Maguire Signed by Leonardi & David 1st APP OF AZRAEL signed by Quesada & O'Neil Signed by Kazuo Koike Signed by Kazuo Koike Signed by Steranko, Albaquerque & Bullock
  8. Great job on this and the mag! Didn't know you can get TPBs signed and CGCed. Good to know!
  9. You could've gotten Francesco Francavilla to sign it too. He was at the Archie Booth on Saturday w/ a writer signing their new (and very good) Archie Zombie comic. I missed out on this big time (both the zombie signing and the Detective Comics signing!)
  10. He was at NYCC a few years ago. Hooked me up with a free Batman sketch and I got all my LOSERS trades signed by him and Andy Diggle. Very nice & cool guys!
  11. I wanted to get that done but didn't have the cash to do it Next time I see them, I'll definitely get the one and my SDCC copy done. This is my favorite cover so far from the series although Amanda Conner's recent Batgirl cover looks great too.
  12. Awesome piece! Also like the chicks in your post. How much was Neal Adams charging for a piece like that as I am looking to get one? Did you order it online through his son or just ask him at the con how much he was charging?
  13. Don't have any books signed by him but I did get ASH VS. THE ARMY OF DARKNESS signed. That DVD has the original ending to the movie before they film studio had Raimi reshoot the ending with a somewhat lighter note. Would like to get a comic & poster signed by him next time.
  14. My goal is to get a copy like this one. Good work!
  15. I figure since he was the publisher and had a hand in selecting creative teams and books that should see print, he should sign the book. I sold a signed 7.5 FLASH #172 signed by Infantino and also currently have a 8.5 issue of ACTION COMICS #419 (1st App of Human Target) signed by Infantino & Neal Adams. Just need Len Wein's autograph to make it complete. He got so little credit for all the good he did for DC Comics. He's DC's Stan Lee but without the showmanship.
  16. I was lucky enough to meet Denny O'Neil at NY Wizard World during the summer and I ended getting these babies signed. Also had him sign the BATMAN: SWORD OF AZRAEL #1 & got a 9.6. Just had Joe Quesada sign it at NYCC 2013 so I should be getting it back sometime next year.
  17. http://www.ebay.com/sch/jeircho_macintosh/m.html?_nkw=&_armrs=1&_ipg=&_from= Above you will find a list of items on a 3 day auction. Need to pay off some debt and need the cash. You'll mainly find some copper but mainly modern books (many in sets) as well as (2) Used Omnibus - 1st Printing Editions I'm looking to let go: 1. AVENGERS Vol. 1 by Stan Lee, Jack Kirby & Don Heck 2. NEW TEEN TITANS Vol. 1 by Marv Wolfman & George Perez Check it out. If you bid, I wish you luck! Thanks!
  18. I want this NOW!!! I had this idea about getting his sig at SDCC but my money was tied up in other signings. Found out he was showing up a week before the con. Was not happy that I missed out on this opportunity. I'd pay to get this but it'd be in installments.
  19. T That's a pretty cool piece. Looking to add more sigs to my AMAZING SPIDER-MAN #700 Skyline Variant. So far I've got 6 people.
  20. Thought I'd share some of my collection. Started last year and I've been addicted ever since.
