    SDCC pick-up. Since this book is quite hot right now I went for this really well presenting 5.0 which has most of it's damage concentrated on the spine. I hope to upgrade along the way.

    I purchased this book around 30 minutes before closing time on Sunday and am really happy about it. I've wanted a Menace for quite some time now and finally scored one thanks to a fellow boardie.

    Was waiting to see a closeup scan of this book after you posted the pic of your haul! Wood, Frazetta and Kinstler. What a lineup, congrats on that beauty! Thank you! I'm very happy with this book. The Wood, Frazetta, Williamson and Kinstler story is amazing. I just reread the reprint. One will come along for you! It took me ages to find one.

    Great pick-ups! Jim told me that he consigned a nearly complete run of Atlas books to Heritage. To bad that I don't purchase books from them...

    I'm aware that a few Atlas covers exist, but never saw a DC war cover before. 5 to 6k was a lot of money back then, I wouldn't have been able to pull the trigger.

    Bought on the boards and picked up at SDCC. I just love that cover, especially the third tier with the bombs being dropped. Heath at his best!

    I had a couple, they were either British or Australian. I sold them last year, but still have a ton of Australian Bats and Supes. I have some Australian ones. Maybe you were thinking of those? Yes, those are the ones. I kinda regret selling them now.

    Thank you Claudio! I have owned a few copies over the last two decades, but this is the nicest one I managed to snag up at a decent price (this book has always been expensive, especially in the 90's, I didn't have a lot of money for comics back then).
