  1. I see you got your #105 home ! Congratulations, that's a wonderful book ! Thank you Bruno! (thumbs u
  2. I'm watching it right now. I sure regret selling my DD 1's now.
  3. Sweet books! They have definitely become expensive though.
  4. Sweet cover, how is the Crandall story inside? I haven't had a chance to read it yet. Just thumbed it when I bought it and it looked good. Looks kind of like a Crandall cover (at least the cop). Delinquents wearing leather and "dungarees" were a big thing in those days. Kind of like the hippies of my era. There is always something kids do to off their parents! The Atlas Tales website credits the cover to Fred Kida, I really like it. I remember that I did a lot to off my parents.
  5. One of my favorites. Should have never auctioned this one: Great looking copy, to bad that you parted with it.
  6. ...another I've never had.....how are the stories ? GOD BLESS.... -jimbo(a friend of jesus) (thumbs u Not that good, if memory serves me right. I flipped through it and I liked the first and the last stories best if I remember this correctly.
  7. This issue is very special to me. I fell in love with the cover when I first saw it in the Gerber books and manages to find a copy years later. This is one of my favorite covers of the series and I felt the urge to upgrade lately, but after looking at GPA decided to keep this copy, which is the first issue of Marvel Tales I purchased.
  8. Cheers, those are kinda a must for me, being a German living in France.
  9. I don't have that one. Nice Heath cover by the way!
  10. Sweet cover, how is the Crandall story inside?
  11. Great book! Why doesn't CGC credit Everett with the cover? Good question. I don't know how they do it with the labels at CGC, but maybe the guy who took care of the label information didn't recognize the Everett art (the cover is not signed). I feel like this cover may have been a collaboration (Colan/Everett?) though the lowest of the 3 panels at the very bottom LFC is 100% Everett. Love this cover. It looks pretty much all Everett to me, but I could be wrong.
  12. ....another one that you really should get a reader for..... one of the best ones. GOD BLESS... -jimbo(a friend of jesus) (thumbs u You're right, I should and would love to, but even readers are expensive. I sure wish that Marvel would continue to publish the Atlas Archives.
  13. +1! It took me some time to find a correct copy of the book.
  14. This one has another great Everett cover, one I fancy very much!

  16. I haven't posted a lot of books over the last few months in this thread and thought that I could post a few Marvel Tales that I did not yet post tonight. Here's the first one (with a great Everett cover):
  17. Cheers! (thumbs u I really liked the "The Sergeant is a Monkey" story by Heath.
  18. Got this one at WonderCon. I am very lucky to have stumbled upon this one, I haven't graded the book yet but it looks to be a strong fine. We all know how hard it is to find the Mademoiselle Marie issues above vg. If I could only find the other issues I miss now.
  19. My money would be on Colossus, and TOS #14 already commands a bit of a premium because of his first appearance. It would be nice for a change that books I already own "break out". Usually it's the other way around.
  20. I always liked Goom and was glad to find a nice presenting fn/vf at Ted's booth.
  21. That's a cool cover. Don't think I have seen that one before. How many comics were released by Atlas/Marvel with multi colored logos? I know a few Millie the Model annuals, FF Annual, I think another war comic not sure the title or issue. Seem kinda random in when they were released. Looked it up. Battlefront #37 had a multi colored logo came out in Nov 55 The Marines in Action #4 came out Dec. 55. Millie the Model annual #2, 3 and 5 Strange Tales annual #2 Amazing Spider Man annual #1 Fantasic Four annual #1 and 2 Was this all of them? .... nice copy of MIA 4. I always liked those multi-color titles. I don't recall any for the Horror titles...probably wouldn't be a good design touch for them. I'd imagine the jumped out at the stands. GOD BLESS... -jimbo(a friend of jesus) (thumbs u ..... Patrick (pickycollector) has a real decent Atlas TGK in his sales thread.... Cheers Jimbo! (thumbs u I'm not into TGK (yet), but I picked up a couple of nice Atlas Westerns lately, the package is waiting for me at work. I'll be at the store on Sunday, can't wait to hold them in hand.

There are 2 other books that could fit in: Krazy Comics 18 and 21, but they have only two colors in the multi colored logo.
