  1. I'd like to complete a Gaines set of Frontline Combat. I bought a couple of new ones at SDCC. Here's the first one which is not an amazing copy due to some fading on the left edge, but I got it for a good price. Wonder if it's possible that's a printing defect rather than the result of fading? It looks like fading to me, add the light tanning halo the book has along the edges to that and it seems to me that the book suffered from bad storage.

  4. She definitely is creepy! I always liked the cover to Astonishing 34! The book presents rather well for its grade! (thumbs u You right, losing ones head is tough enough, why the hands, especially since it doesn't matter, he's going to die anyway...

  7. San Diego was really great this year. I had great fun, bought cool books, met some nice people and had a few great lunches and dinners. Flemmings: I rocked a nice steak at Fleming's, myself. The next night I had swordfish; BUT, even better, dined with a certain artist named Steranko to my immediate left! I always go at least twice every SDCC. Cool, is he a wine drinker?
