  1. Saw this the other day: https://comicbook.com/comics/news/robert-kirkman-skybound-transformers-gi-joe-comics-license/
  2. Goes beyond words on how cool that would be to own.
  3. Enjoyed both episodes. Happy to see: Pizza dog Tracksuit gang, bro There is always the question of damage done to a female in a fight. Was nice to see facial damage done to Kate, but I am sure there would be a lot of damage to the body from the body blows. It is based on a comic book, so we do take allow it. They did slide in there that she was a 2-time fencing champion, has taken lots of archery training and competed, and also has martial arts training. So it seems like she has been working hard on all aspects to be like Hawkeye. Liking what I've seen so far. Looking forward to the rest. Still like Loki and FAWS more so.
  4. Take above and take 170.
  5. That Cobra Sigil cover is great! Congrats. I got to meet Robert Atkins back in 2013! He was one of the reason I got back into collecting GI Joe.
  6. Not having any other background on the movie, my wife and I watched and thoroughly enjoyed it. Did not feel like a 2 1/2 hour movie. We did have subtitles on which did help with the whispers for understanding. The visuals were outstanding.
  7. That is fantastic... but does that mean it'll be even longer before we get the next season??
  8. Not me, but thought this was pretty cool tattoo.
  9. This was by far my favorite episode so far, with the T'Challa Star Lord being the other I liked. Other two episodes were "ok".
  10. Just finished watching this... and hmph.,.. not my Snake Eyes. Things that I just didn't like: Did like some of the action scenes. Was entertained, kind of. Many plot holes. Not a great story. Just don't understand why they can't just do something much closer to the source material. So much opportunity to do a military movie with aspects of Mission Impossible and Bond movies. Overall, disappointing more so than I thought I'd be going in with lowered expectations.
  11. Enjoyed it. Went it with low expectations because of how the first one went. Had it fun moments, along with some head scratching moments. I though King Shark was awesome! Polk Dot's "mom issue" was great as well. Did not realize Nathan Fillion was T.D.K. till the credits.
  12. Gives me that 70s kung fu movie vibe. I am trying to approach the movie as a martial arts movie more so than a GI Joe movie, because part of the Snake Eyes lore is that he was a white guy being accepted into this ninja clan.
  13. Very jealous. I am sure my original copy would have held up well. Made the mistake of selling my collection long time ago. Now trying to reacquire. The 21 I was able to get is at best a 2.0. Lots of indentions from a pen or something. Hoping to get a better version, but will have to wait as well. Seems GI Joe comics are a hot commodity right now.
  14. I have the complete series thus far and get the latest issues. The only issue that may have worth is issue 95 that debuts Jennika as a turtle. I typically get the B cover (Eastman art) unless it isn't available or I really don't like the cover (or A cover calls to me moreso).
  15. Bought a bunch of ASMs from Joe. Was fantastic to talk to and the books were just as expected. Well packed when shipped as well. Will keep an eye on any future sales threads he may have.
  16. Would agree with this. I just finished Saga trades a week or so ago. Was really good. I've read Invincible twice already, and wouldn't be oppose to reading it a third time or more.
  17. Nice books! I would love to one get a 9.8 of Issue 21. Envious and jealous.
  18. In doing some rearranging of my comics in the last year (switching from long boxes to short boxes), I discovered that I somehow am missing issue 30 from my collection. I am hoping that I somehow misplaced it (there are a few others that were seemingly misplaced and not found yet) rather than not realizing I don't have it all these years. I have the complete run (minus #30 - wherever it may be) and bought it at the time they came out. So definitely one of those who took a shine to Darkhawk as soon as he came out.
  19. Not the best picture nor are these recent pickups, but figured this might be a good way to jumpstart the thread again. Show off some of your better GI Joe books/slabs.
  20. I can do the same. I sold my original collection (not sure if it was complete or not), but trying to reacquire nonetheless.
