  1. It is a book that brings in the mid $200's regularly and I've not been remotely tempted to sell mine for that price. I have no idea if the TV show will be worth a dang or not but I do know this was Bendis at the peak of his creativity. Excellent story.

GPA has it at $225 and trending upwards. Not quite a mid 200's book but I can see it easily hitting the 250 mark to 300's, fairly soon....after the first couple episodes air *and* it gets renewed for a second season.

Seems to be a solid $225 book in 9.8 , now.It also has a respectable 9.6 track record, in relation to its 9.8 sales figures.

Back in 2008 somebody got a Hell of a sleeper deal on a 9.9 for a lousy sixty-two bucks...........

    Thanks!

  2. Jessica Jones may not be the most well-known superhero in the Marvel-verse, but neither were the "Guardians of the Galaxy." And with talent like writer Brian Michael Bendis (the superhero comic creator) behind this drama and actors like Krysten Ritter and David Tennant cast in the leads, we're expecting big things from this Netflix series.

Here is a good overview of her character.

Daredevil on Netflix has done well so I am thinking this could well too.

Alias #1 is her first appearance

  3. I seem to recall the Baron Zemo leading the Thunderbolts was the son of the original Baron Zemo, the same which led the new Masters of Evil in the classic, wonderful "Under Siege" storyline by Roger Stern.

Would this one be a relative? Anyway, this level of speculation is just ridiculous.

Buy Thunderbolts because you liked the title, that will be more credible. :screwy:

I really enjoyed the book till Marvel waved the white flag on around issue 60 or so. I thought it was the freshest idea Marvel had come up with in a long tie.

When are people going to wake up that Marvel / Disney is not vesting in the long term. This reboot of #1's is going to continue until the facade is not working.

every year, a new #1. Like a new TV season or DVD season.

  4. Yeah the esistence of the 4 packs at five below killed some value. I already grabbed 3 without even trying at five below, Too many copies out there now. As for the CM 17 2nd prints. There not technically a first App so if you after the first app then thats not a book to get but if you got one for cover price then good time to sell as its going for a chunk of change.

I quit the five below lottery. Nothing even worth a dollar on the secondary market.

  5. Times are changing as they always do. Of the top 100 titles, 75 are in single digits. That leaves 25 books making it to #10 or more. The Walking Dead is the only book (twice) in the top 100 sellers to have entered into the triple digit numbering. That is a pretty incredible number and a drastic change from years past. I would venture a guess that the issues numbered under #10 will increase as Marvel releases their new series in a month or two.

    36% of the top 50 are #1.

    This means more #1s.

  6. Latour said, “The main focus of our first arc is on Gwen Stacy’s continuing adventures within her own universe (Earth 65), it’s pretty essential to who this Gwen Stacy is to have her own supporting cast and villains and problems.” He also said that Gwen will continue to criss-cross between worlds, noting, “bouncing over to the 616 now and then is something we’re eager to explore too.”
