Exactly. I hit the same problem. Searching for "Captain America Comics" brought up a whole bunch of unrelated matches and I had to sift through page after page to find all of the timely caps

The search is horrible. They did a horrible job in my opinion, because it's all about usability. The old site was much more user friendly.

Yeah, CC is annoying. You have to save all the items in your watch list in order to obtain the final auction results. But of course, you have to have added every book you want to watch to the list

What did the 5.0 sell for? I'm so behind on this thread.

I'm certainly no expert, but suspect 1.5. Grading seems to have gotten stricter over the past year or so, for some reason. Then again, that may just be my perception. Great book, though! Wish I had one!

I didn't inquire. It's essentially buyer beware on raw books, and I knew that going in. Still, I was surprised at the 5.5 that got knocked down to a 4, but that was the only real surprise. Most are accurate within 1/2 grade.

I have, and have sent a couple of their raw books down to CGC for grading. For the most part, they're accurate. In my experience, their grading is 1/2 grade high, compared with what CGC graded my books. In one instance, metro was off on the grade by 1 1/2 (5.5 raw - CGC graded at 4.0).

I think that just sold on ComicConnect for the full asking price. Someone double-check me on this, please.
