I can't even imagine what will happen to pages if the show is a hit. Unlike WD, there's no new pages coming out and the existing ones are already scarce. I would think that has got to spell monstrous prices for the OA.

I didn't think the reserve would be met. I have no grasp on this market or YTLM as of late.

Buy the set and sell the inks to re-coupe a portion of the money spent? If that is what he is talking about, I think the real question is whether or not there would even be a market for just the inks.

I wasn't surprised to see this page go higher. Some of the pluses on this page as I see them: - There aren't any images of Jesse on the page but his presence can certainly be felt. - Title page from early on in the series and from one of the best arcs of the series - The other title page was more comedic, and some people like that aspect. But this page encapsulates everything that was horrible about Angelville. The buyer got a nice page, but it wasn't me I see your point, but for my money I agree with J. Sid. I'll take a little comedy and Jesse for $200 cheaper. Nice page nonetheless.

Yeah. I posted this in comics general, but I think we're finally seeing some price corrections on original art. This went for $765. This for $399 didn't even sell. This is at $2100, likely to end at that price. I disagree. I hardly think that a few pages constitute a "price correction." Wasn't it just a few months ago we saw a Tyreese and Michonne page go for $1200-1300 on eBay? There weren't any zombies on that one either. While the two examples you provided do have zombies, the one that didn't sell lacks major characters and the other has kind of an odd looking zombie in my opinion. I'm not trying to knock on these pages but I just don't think they're representative of Adlard's best work, and thus a poor gauge for the market as a whole. I'm also curious as to why you think it's likely that the Tyreese page on Comiclink is likely to end at that price. Only time will tell, but I wouldn't be surprised to see it go a bit higher. Thanks Solar, and I completely agree. While it certainly has it's fans, I think that maybe a lot of people get turned off by it early before Spider's redeeming qualities manifest themselves in the story. Somewhere between the 'F' bombs, violence, and drugs, Ellis manages to develop a profound social commentary. That's my anyway!

I was wondering this as well. I'd love to see an example of one too. I was also pondering what A-level Adlard Walking Dead pages would be. I know all the usual elements bump the price like zombies, key moments, first appearances, etc., but I didn't think that there were many Adlard interior pages in the $3-5k range.

I'm relatively new to the hobby, but in the year or so I've been collecting I have not seen a single Y: The Last Man cover hit the market, and there seems to be a number missing from CAF. While I understand that not everyone posts to CAF and they may be in private collections, I would've thought a modern comic like Y would be more accessible. I'd be particularly interested in finding the iconic cover to #23 if anyone has any idea. Thanks!
