  1. Daredevil #197 CGC 9.8 s/s Mike Mignola, Bill Sienkiewicz & Denny O'Neil - $245 1st appearance of Yuriko, later becomes Lady Deathstrike
  2. Incredible Hulk #196 CGC 9.2 s/s John Romita & Sal Buscema - sold Another book I really thought would do better----but it does have two legends on it.
  3. Superman #317 CGC 9.6 - SOLD From an original owner collection I purchased a few years ago---- I was actually a little surprised this didn't hit 9.8. Probably a minor pressing could bring this up, and a $50 Neal Adams signature if you're a mind to put him on the cover. Actually, this is probably my favorite Neal Adams Superman cover.
  4. Happy St. Patrick's Day! Sure, I should be faking my faux Irish roots today---but I'm scanning slabs instead. So, every year I have two major sales threads. After 16 years on the message boards, the two threads I'm pretty consistent with are my annual Black Friday sales thread and my Tax Man sales thread. I tried starting a new tradition last year, that being the "2 for 1" thread. So it's TAX MAN time again, and rather than start a whole new thread, I'm just going to add on to the Black Friday thread. With over 41,000 views that sales thread was hands down my most successful yet. Over 42 pages of books, and still lots of great stuff there---I'm just going to keep this train rolling. So without further adieu, here begins the 2019 TAX MAN sales thread.
  5. Adding this one to my list, it's the wknd of March 29th This show is coming up in just a few weeks---I was looking at the guest list, and there's a nice eclectic group there. The only comic book creator though is SCOTT LOBDELL. To the best of my knowledge, Scott hasn't done a convention in years. I've seen him on a guest list once or twice, only to see him cancel. I think he may make this con though because he was the screenwriter on HAPPY DEATH DAY. Books need to be IN HAND no later than March 28th http://www.newjerseyhorrorcon.com/guests/?fbclid=IwAR39cV2Qd43y5SEFbJL33VwKtp6CsO6W296C0-8IPD1yg-BVzPggxfKleHg So here's some guest highlights--- Scott Lobdell, BTTF actors Lea Thompson, Tom Wilson, James Tolkan, Zach Galligan (Gremlins), Shannon Elizabeth, Mick Garris, Ernie Hudson, Jennifer Runyon, Pet Sematary (1987) Denise Crosby, Miko Hughes & Dale Midkiff, John Kassier (voice of the Crypt Keeper in HBO Tales from the Crypt), Adreinne Barbeau, Mark Patton (Nightmare on Elm Street 2), Kim Myers (Nightmare on Elm Street 4), Ken Page (Oggie Boogie from Nightmare Before Christmas), Linnea Quigley, Joe Bob Briggs, Lloyd Kaufman, John Russon (Night of the Living Dead), Butch Patrick (The Munsters), Harvey Spencer Stevens (The Omen, 1972)
