  2. this book was super tough to find. I missed out on pre orders, and its going for stupid money on ebay. I have 5 stone cold 9.8 candidates in hand....I can offer up signed by cover artist Adi Granov at $255 each ELEKTRA (1/50 variant) #2 s/s Adi Granov
  3. I spent the better part of 2 hrs yesterday screening a number of these books----I'll have final numbers later this morning. These variants for Super Sons #1 (by Tyler Kirkham) are long sold out. The signing with Kirkham won't be for another month or so, but this was one of those books that I didn't want to offer in a thread or commit to until I could visually scan each copy. I'm seeing a lot of these books that are not 9.8 candidates, more like 9.6 or 9.4. Seeing a lot of common printing defects on these books, or even handling wear. As follows : Super Sons #1 (Joker b/w detention), print run 1000 cps s/s Kirkham & Tomasi - $195 (five spots) Super Sons #1 (Poison Ivy detention) print run 1500 cps Kirkham & Tomasi -$175 (five spots) Super Sons #1 (Joker, & Poison Ivy virgin cover detention) print run 800 cps Kirkham & Tomasi - $235 (five spots)
  4. Peter David (iconic writer) could really use our help Here's someone who could really use our help----iconic writer Peter David, who has never asked for a dime for signing our comics, is in debt $88K to the IRS. The story is all out there on his go-fund-me page. Long and short----he had money from a TV show and the wife took half. Now the IRS is coming to collect. Listen, I've said this over and over----I have no problem paying creators at a show for signatures, within a reasonable amount of money. It's typically though, the richest creators in the room who have their hand held out to take their share of what they think is an eBay flip. Forget about the fact that you've been supporting their career by purchasing their work in bulk----but it's the guys on the floor who could really USE the donation, they don't ask for a dime. The Bernie Wrightsons, the Bob Wiaceks, etc----you know who they are, they are genuinely humble and gracious. They acknowledge the fact that they wouldn't HAVE a career if not for you, the fan (or the dealer---let's be honest here) who purchase their work and support their livelihood. All you creators out there who are signing exclusive contracts to make sure that you are paid your $15 to $30+ per book----the guys who already have more money than you can count----here's a guy who could GENUINELY use the money. Why not pay it forward a little bit and lend a hand to someone who no doubt inspired you along the way to become a writer or an artist. Someone who contributed so much to our hobby for decades. I've always been humbled by the guys who don't want or expect anything, and left a sour taste by the creators who think they're a $20 autograph----and then you someone like Peter David who couldn't be nicer, who has truly left a mark in this industry. I call upon everyone who ever had a comic book signed by Peter David, please find it within yourself to help this guy out. Think of it as back pay for the stacks of comics he wrote that were autographed over the years. Maybe today's the day you hold back on getting your Charles Soule or Jim Lee comic signed---maybe you take a break from that Stan Lee signing or the Scott Snyder line---instead, take that money and contribute it towards Peter David. A guy who could genuinely use our help today, and has never asked for anything in return. https://www.gofundme.com/peter-david-needs-your-help

  7. My apologies to all of you guys who have been messaging me and I have not had an opportunity to reply to you, the signal in the convention hall is week. And I just spent a couple hours at dinner with an old family friend. But hear something else I'm going to throw out there. Prescreen no less than 75+ cps, found only this ONE. Print run 500 cps Suicide Squad Justice League #1 Tyler Kirkham Virgin cover Signature Series Kirkham, Fabok, Williamson- $225
  8. Full transparency here I am super on the fence regarding this one so I'm going to price it accordingly. If it gets in 9.8, price doesn't change. 9.6 this is your price. It is super tight and I'm really strict but I'm going to say this one walk the line between 9.6 and 9.8 again, purchased directly from Drew struzan. Now, that being said I'm going to try to add the following people to this book as well because I'm going to be seen almost all of them shortly period at no additional cost. Tony Harris, Sienkiewicz, Ed McGuiness, Dan Jurgens, Lee Bermejo, Jim Lee is here at the show and I can add Jim, but that would be an additional $30 which is the exact cost of autograph Action Comics #800 SS Drew Struzan - $195 Again, purchased directly from Drew Struzan table. Call the other autographs above added for free, if you want Jim Lee that is an additional 30 just let me know
  9. Purchased directly from Drew Struzan table, file copies of Indiana Jones and the kingdom of the Crystal Skull #1 and #2 They did not have many, but I pre-screened and purchased every copy and these are as solid of a 9.8 candidate as I have yet to come across. Assuming that I can get the images to load in this post, I am going to be offering three each (firm) copies of each issue 1 & 2, $250 per book, Signature Series signed Drew Struzan. About as iconic and rare of an artist as you can find, his Handler did confirm that this show is indeed his first public signing where you could actually have your own items autographed.

  16. I have a signing with DAVE GIBBONS in a few weeks, and thought now was a good time to offer these up for grabs. I purchased about a dozen of these Gibbons variant covers when the book came out, stock is in hand, and been sitting bagged and boarded in a short box untouched for over a year now. Pre-screened by yours truly, they're flawless. If every copy didn't hit 9.8, I'd be shocked. To the best of my knowledge, this is Dave's first U.S. appearance in almost 3 + years. DARK KNIGHT III #1 (Gibbons 1/25 ratio variant cover) s/s Dave Gibbons - $135 add Frank Miller (optional add-on) - $125
