  1. Spider-Gwen #1 CGC s/s Stephanie Hans (first Hans s/s w/sketch to date!)
  2. There's an Anastasia's Collectibles Emerald City Spider Gwen Exclusive pictured below. SS op can be found here: http://boards.collectors-society.com/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Number=8397928 I need to edit what I said there----I mistook the Phantom Variant of SG #2 to be that ASM 301 homage----it's actually SILK #2 (out tomorrow, Wed. 3/18) that has the Phantom variant which backs up SG #1.
  3. Third Eye is my LCS---I can tell you guys right now---the books are gorgeous. The staff was packing and shipping books, the store was crazy busy. Everyone coming in was buying SG #1. The b/w sketch variant was sold out before I left the store.
  4. Hey TMNT guys-----I'm going to be announcing a Rick Veitch op in the next day or two. It's been pointed out to me that there are several guys here who may want Veitch s/s on their TMNT or sketches. If you want sketches, you need to provide sketch cover blanks. All the details will be forthcoming, but just FYI---if there's anyone who will want to add on Kevin Eastman, LMK. I'll be seeing Eastman at the DC Awesomecon for signings in a few months. PM for details----but Veitch---announcement thread to go live today or tomorrow.
  5. We just finished a go-round with Bachalo recently---in fact, the books are all graded and awaiting shipping from CGC. I may very well do another with Chris later in the year.
  6. D, What scanner are you using? I need to upgrade my own. Does it do the whole slab in one shot?
  7. Just a brief follow up --- not that it's terribly important if you've already blocked this guy. But I followed up on his information provided----email address, physical street address, phone number--all provided to ebay when he opened his account is false. I reported the buyer to ebay, they may well shut down the account for false information---but if they don't, you definitely want to add this one to non-payer list.
  8. Perhaps not---but what I can do is pay closer attention to who is bidding and just add zero feedback bidders user ID to my block list. They can't stop me from doing that.
  9. Does anyone know of a dan dillon aka da_dillo on eBay. Zero feedback ID, apparently so new to ebay he registered the day he won my book. email provided to ebay maasddsa@aol.com is a dead end. I fear this is probably yet another non-paying bidder---I'm going to have to adjust my eBay settings so nobody with less then 5 can bid. Or maybe even higher. This is becoming a real problem
  10. Details man....details. Non-paying bidder? I have always loved how Rich is always short and to the point But yeah, a few more words would explain Sorry, yes----non-paying bidder. SEVERAL attempts to reach him---and he's apparently relatively local (by which I mean his location on ebay puts him at about 30 miles from my location). Tried personal email, ebay email, etc----no response. 14 feedbacks with no real purchases in a year. Just completely ignored me. Which brings me to my next post (I swear I'm friggin' plagued by these guys lately)
  11. Add this deadbeat to your block list. pbritty909909
  12. Thanks, Harv! Didn't mean to confuse the two.
  13. What are the other seller & Buyer eBay ID's for our very own Hasan "HusTruck" Currently the one that I am aware of is crisis_comics
  14. Hey, quick question----is anyone aware of an additional seller & Buyer eBay ID's for our very own Hasan "HusTruck" Currently the one that I am aware of is crisis_comics
  15. A genuine pleasure to work on that book for you sir. I'm sorry it took so long!e genuine pleasure to work on that book for you sir. I'm sorry it took so long!
  16. Sharon, if I ever put you on ignore it's only because I'm playing hard to get! Hugs!!!!
  17. So I'm having beers with my good, close personal friend, Hugh, one evening. And after I few Fosters oil cans I say, "Excuse ME while I whip these out!" Okay, so maybe the beer didn't happen, but still----a couple Hugh Jackman s/s books----I couldn't possibly think of a better way to end my 2014 CGC s/s year. My thanks to Litchy, Balent, Pence, Caria, Gingy, BK, JJ, Palmer, G-Money, Guinto, Ed, Baltimore Lauren, Dscott, James Walker, Balent (twice because he deserves a double shout out), Scott & Mollie, Bree, Brit Boy Paul Beetham (my UK witness), Double Irish Caffery & Caffery, NYComics, Doug Hurley, Ray Bonn (not on the boards, but my primary SDCC witness), Kris Moore, Torrey Q., Frenchy and all the ships at sea (those whom I know I am forgetting in my haste) I love you all and deeply appreciate every inch of help you gave me this year and EVERY year. Words cannot express how much you all mean to me, so I won't get sappy. I'll just get your bar tab. 2014 was a stellar year---albeit not without some bumps---of which I want to extend a very deep and personal note to the people who were there for me when I had to RUN out of SDCC this year for personal family matters. There wasn't a single person who wasn't there to help me expedite, including booth mate David Lloyd---it was sudden, it was fast, and I don't think I ever broke down a booth that fast in my life. Extra hugs and beer to Mr. & Mrs. TP, Gemma, Mollie & Litch for that crazy day. You all are the best of the best. Top Gun, baby. Top Gun.
  18. Recently sold to a client---figured I should post a scan for posterity. Tomb of Dracula #48 CGC 9.6 s/s Gene Colan, Marv Wolfman & Tom Palmer.
  19. Funny how that email system of his all of a sudden just up and magically started working again. Much like my buyer.
  20. Dutch, just out of curiosity, what were the books you were purchasing from him?
  21. So what is the upshot of this, will he complete the transaction, or is he arguing he is not responsible? Will he post here with his side of the story, or not? Someone who's been saying "I'll mail it tomorrow" for over four months clearly has no intention of every mailing the item. After all this time (since July, was it?) Even if he had the books, I'd only want my money back. He's on my block bidder list now.
  22. So, what started as basically non-response over the course of several (more then fair) attempts to reach the ebay buyer (who turned out to be board member oceanavekid), I took this to both ebay and the message boards. There was an initial e-check payment made several days after initial payment was due, mostly because I finally had to file a non-paying bidder on ebay. Once I told him that I was taking this to the message boards, all of a sudden he had no problems emailing me back and forth. 1st e-check payment was cancelled, and that's when I informed him I was tired of dealing with non-paying bidders like himself. His response: (this was about a week ago, I believe) As I said, all of a sudden there were no problems in responding to my emails, and after this last response from him, I said that there seems to be a pattern here, and provided several links to other threads on the boards where he's had similar issues. After that there was no more smarmy replies, and even though a 2nd e-check payment had been initiated, that too was cancelled. At any rate, this is someone with a history of shenanigans and tire kicking on the boards, and the PL list is pretty much where he belongs and blocked on your ebay bidder list. Ebay user handle is crisis_comics Not a psychic, but I'd be shocked if he didn't swing in here before the end of the day with a song and dance defending himself. I will say only this---and this is neither pro or con this buyer. But he makes mention of "switching banks" claiming this was initially the issue with the paypal account. This is an exact excuse/reason used by another buyer/board member not too long ago where something similar happened. I'm not sure if I buy it or not, it seems too convenient, two similar events happening very close to each other....but if that's truly the issue here, anyone who is switching bank accounts should be responsible enough to change the information with paypal as well, post haste. In closing, ultimately, oceanavekid has a track record here on the boards, and had I known his ebay handle prior, I would have blocked him anyway.
  23. Thanks for the tip----I'm adding aandstreasurehunters to my block list now.
