I still love it, but I would like it to get back to a more regular release schedule (crazy me).
-
Did TWD Risk and Monopoly games end up coming out yesterday? I had them preordered on Amazon and the release date still shows 10/2, but both listings still say "available for preorder."
Anyone have any info on this?

We can't go more than 24 hrs without a post. Here is a bump.....with some new art.
Great page, James.

Can we please talk about the interview I just read with Kirkman? Please and thank you.
I am very excited to jump into this Arc. I really feel there will be surprises and hopefully ( ) we will all be happy. "Rick maybe has bitten off more than he can chew." hahahaha I can't wait!!!
BTW It seems kinda strange that Kirkman states he's stressed out about this. I can't even imagine what he's going through. Oct & Nov will not see bi-weekly books, but they will come after that. So right during the major holidays....? ouch!
I love the book to death, and I love the current arc. The book still surprises me and still gets my emotions going. My hope? Negan isn't dead in 125 or 126. Too predictable. Don't stick to the predefined 6 issue "blocks" of story.
My guess? Some how, some way, he will become a zombie before this is over.
I also like the hints that the zombies will be coming back in big (and surprising) ways. I don't feel that the book is lacking for them, but I look forward to their return to the spotlight.
I love this book!

Loved the
tiger attack out of nowhere. Bad issue.
Did you catch the last line (or so) of Negan's "song" before that happened?...
"catch a tiger..."
-
Folks, 114 was epic! Read it ASAP!
Agreed! One of my favorite moments was the last page:
Negan's absolutely absurd analogy about a helicopter and the saviors' blank stares after he said it.
As insane has some of his quotes are it's nice to see that in the WD universe the characters still have some of the same reactions that I do to what he says.

The synopsis for #114 is posted up at roamersandlurkers.com if anyone feels like spoiling themselves. I don't recommend it...it's just 1 more day!

Here's the Wizard World Ohio WD #1 cover:

Looks a bit like The Punisher
The flames (?) in the background reminds me of the #43 cover:

Sometimes the "on hold" drops off or is a typo. #106 page #4 comes to mind, of Negan and Carl's interaction in Negan's room. Where Carl shows Negan his eyehole. Anyways that page was "on hold" for about 3 months. I asked Mark what was the deal and he told me it's back up for sale. So I took it. Maybe the buyer backed out.
I tried to buy that page May 24th when it was "on hold," though I don't think Mark got back to me nor did I expect him to given its status. It's a great page!

Somebody has a lot of pgs. on hold at splash. Looks to be common pgs. I did a lot of common pg. buying when I start collecting. THERE IS NOTHING WRONG WITH THAT.....thats just in case someone got up on the wrong side of the bed this morning and is looking for a whipping boy. But sometime if you can ,its better to save for the really cool ones. I sure have paid for some really common pgs. that I look back and wish I had not. Think it was the fear of buy it now or it will be gone forever. But great pgs always seem to float around the markets. But that's just me............
one more thing THE DEAD RULES !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
As a new collector, I agree with your insights 100%. Though a common page to some may have some special meaning to others. My first purchases from Mark were 3 pages from #102 that just have Andrea and Rick talking, but I loved their interaction, Rick's hopelessness and guilt that came across so clearly in the writing, and the strength that Andrea provided..."It's not your fault when someone dies. It's your fault when the rest of us live." As much as I love that page and the related pages I understand that they don't exactly shine like diamonds in my collection from the outsider's perspective.
Though, like you said, there are *a lot* of pages on hold currently. The last few "on hold" pages that I saw ended up showing up on Anthony's site for sale a few weeks later which makes me wonder.
-
Also have to say I am super excited to be getting to read this book twice a month. Man waiting a month really sucks
Agreed 100%, but after AoW ends it will be extra painful waiting a whole month.

The last cover is up...the last image isn't all that surprising (unless you are Carl or Rick).

omg that is wonderful
I think the Michonne cover is my favorite of each that has been revealed so far. Least favorite is probably the bottom right corner, the most recent image with Ezekiel.
-
Yup... Michonne from #19 should feature up top and also Rick taking out Dexter. Agree with Carl losing his eye too.
We are on the money so far! Michonne and her pets for cover #9.

*Achoo!*
Thanks
-
Michonne needs a spotlight
Agreed
Seconded. Top row...I want to say the image of her walking up with her pets but that was already a cover image and I don't see any cover images repeated here. *shrug* I'm at a loss.
-
So any idea on the last two panels?
Top page? "We are the walking dead!" Though I agree, it's unlikely.
Bottom page? I'd bet on Carl getting it in the eye. It fits with the chronology. Could that be his shoulder poking out on the right? Probably not, but just a guess
-
TAINTED MEAT!!!! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH
A truly classic page.
-
Noone has posted it yet so I thought I may as well
Number 8
I think it is starting to look pretty awesome personally
Agreed...I can appreciate seeing a fresh take on some of the most memorable events from the past 10 years. If anything there is a great nostalgia factor, and I can't wait to line them all up in front of myself in person.
-
how much was it?
I'm curious what it was listed at as well.
