If they were advertise as "recalled" comics and it turns out the comics are not recalled, then the buyer has every right to return this comic. That's a pretty weak argument. Let me ask you this, would you deal with a person like this? His ebay name is mik-salis by the way. I'm not sure if he is a member or not, but I think that's a classless move. Keep in mind, if he backed out of a deal because a comic lost value, he is most likely the kind of seller who will back out if he sells a comic, and that comic goes dramatically up in value. He would probably be that same seller who will come up with excuse such as, 'Sorry, but I don't have supply to meet the demand, I have to cancel transaction', then turn around and sell at higher price later on. All I'm saying, avoid that type of buyer/seller. If you like dealing with people like that, that's good. I just don't like dishonest people who won't keep their word, pretty shady if you ask me. Someone who will back out of a deal because of comic value fluctuation and not some legit reason.

I want to nominate ebay name mik-salis. Beware of buyer mik-salis I had several of the star wars hot topic variants. Yesterday he bought one, paid for it, and sent me a message, asking if I could ship same day. Hours after that, when they started dropping in value, he sent another mesage, asking to cancel transaction, he said he bought in error. He mistakenly bought this book, meant to buy a different comic. I called ebay and talked to them, wanted their opinion, since he had already paid. After several messages of going back and forth, even asking him if he wanted partial refund because I didn't want to relist again, he opened a paypal case, stating item not received. I have not responded to paypal. I instead told him I would cancel transaction through ebay. I don't care about the money but when I close a deal, win or lose, I keep my word. My honor and integrity means so much. He made a classless move and as I said, don't care about the money but its messed up that he is opening a paypal case for item not received. I was watching that listing, was going to bid on it. I have a 2 and 3 yellow, would love to get a #1 yellow. Sucks that I missed it, (had some drama at work when listing ended).

That's why I like my books slabbed too. The protection, especially for the older books is a nice benefit. Just like you, I like that it has a notation of 1st app, etc...

Since there seems to be some interested in the Batman book, I added a Spiderman 252 for that option. Keep in mind, it is restored 8.5, says very small amount of color touch on cover. I bought slab, so not sure where it is. Love this cover, figure I just added to pile and upgrade, get a higher grade for myself later on at some point.
