Love The Long Halloween, has to be one of my favorite batman stories. Can you believe I haven't read the Dark Knight Returns! I'm so backed up on my reading, it's unbelievable. Reading Akira right now, on book 28, thats a cool story. And I have other storylines/trades I'm trying to finish. So much to read so little time!

This thread is so confusing. Multiple boardies offering their items, makes it hard to keep up with what's the next item offered, or who's turn it is. It's cool but it just makes this thread confusing. If everyone followed the rules, this would be a great thread.

I had them on watch. I was scared to bid due to seller. I just saw them so low, I had to bid and take a risk. It made me feel better when he contacted me as soon as auction ended. I was still a little concern until they actually arrived to my house though. You see why they sold low (at least in my opinion they did), 0 feedback, and seller described them as F-NM. That's a huge grading range, who does that?

Off the top of my head, I can't think of any AMC original series "hits" before Walking Dead came along, so maybe lightning strikes? Really? Mad Men, Breaking Bad. Never watched either. That's why I said "off the top of my head" Try getting your head out of your ? never watched breaking bad Probably best show I've seen, just incredible.

Just came back from the movies, and I agree with most in here, it was a great movie. I don't care for Captain America much at all but this movie was pretty awesome. The first Captain movie was kinda boring. In fact, I fell asleep and never actually finished it. Maybe it was good but never cared to finish it. This one was great and yes, Scarlett was amazing as Black Widow.

Ebay horror. Trimmed! Who was the seller? So other board members can steer clear? Seller on ebay was bid-now-to-win. Listing said X-MEN #1 (1963) FIRST APP OF XMEN-UNGRADED-UNRESTORED - NO RESERVE. I bought in july of last year. I still have some trouble checking for restoration on books, so when I received it, I couldnt really check or knew how to detect trimming. Plus, might have not been seller's fault, can't really know for sure if seller knew anything about it. Only went by feedback and looked ok besides it's more than likely to late to do anything about it. All I know is that I won't be buying from them anymore.

Here is my 2nd X-Men #1. Got this from a boardie no long ago. Eventually going to sell one of my 2 Xmens #1, but haven't yet decided which one to let go.

I bought this from Ebay last year. It was sold to me as VG Raw, unrestored. I had it sent to CGC and it's coming back trimmed, restored 4.5. Oh well, can't win them all. I've gotten some really good stuff from ebay, but what can I say. At least it came back 4.5 because I would have really lost quite a bit of money if this would have came back lower as I originally thought, I was thinking 3.0 at best. It has really nice eye appeal but the inside was pretty bad. The front cover has 2 folds on it that go from top to bottom of the book, there was some pages folded inside as well.

IT is incredible. Some of my favorite books are from Stephen King, just amazing stuff. I just picked up the Dark Tower 5, 6, and 7. Read the 1st 4 books and plan on reading the rest in the series.
