  3. seller shilling http://feedback.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewFeedback2&userid=louispapedo101&ftab=AllFeedback He listed a Gen 13 CGC 9.8 Chrome SS for $300 but no bitters for months. Slowly went down to $250 and no takers. Now no reserve auction and a bidder of 0 feedback with 100% bidding on his auctions driving up his sales...suspicious
  4. This is a good read. I'm wanting to break into collecting some great art and this thread is great info

  7. I love Mylars! Switched over to Mylars after reading this thread last year. Amazon now offers prime shipping on mylars too
  8. 9.5 investment!!! Worth $9k.... http://portland.craigslist.org/grg/clt/5179674121.html Little does this guy know you can get a cgc one on eBay for $5k...
  9. jgallo has one I think same name as ebay as well
  10. if he was able to message you then he definitely could have paid
  11. Add buyer: gamestacker Made very rude comments and stated he really really hoped he won my auction so he could leave a negative feedback. Definitely somebody to avoid
  12. To be honest, I don't pay enough attention to this thread to know who Donmeca2020 is. I thought he was just a typical n00b trying to make a name for himself by acting like a jerk...I had no idea he had a history. Makes sense though, thank you for the information. I'd also like to say that lowball offers don't bother me, sometimes I find them amusing. What I find annoying are the lowball offers coupled with the lame explanations for why I should sell them my book for more than 50% off current market value. I give 40% offers on eBay all the time. Sellers can no accept and sellers can counter. But with the responses, it's not needed for both parties so keep it professional and not bring your mama's into it or sista's, ya dig?
  13. They said it violated their feedback policy. He claimed he shipped my book to somebody in California and trying to get it back. PayPal gave him 2 weeks to response to the dispute but he failed to respond so he tried to appeal and PayPal denied it. You're better off filing a dispute. Update: I left negative feedback, it was removed in minutes. I called eBay to ask what my violation was -- eBay: We're sorry, there was no violation, the feedback was mistakenly removed. The representative who made the mistake will receive additional training. me: can the feedback be re-posted? or can i post another? eBay: No, and no, sorry. But we'll make a report of this. me: What was the reason recorded for pulling the feedback? eBay: The seller isoldgrit requested feedback removal on the basis that a full refund was issued. me: He shipped an empty box, and to an address different than mine. I'd like to be notified with the findings of your investigation, is that possible? eBay: No, sorry, but we'll investigate and take proper action. -- I'm not sure if that even has any real meaning. But PhoKing, I would advise at least calling eBay to request an investigation. sellers like isoldgrit are such a poison to the safe marketplace environment created by the honest sellers out there. No point in dealing with ebay for refund. File dispute with paypal. The seller is a scammer and keeps telling lies.

  15. None of this makes any sense. What doesn't make sense? I paid for a comic book. Seller sent me just an envelope with just paper inside.
  16. Got the envelope today and seller sent it through a shipping company called Puralator and on the label shows 1LBS document. I left negative feedback but eBay removed it.
  17. SELLER SCAM ALERT ON EBAY SELLER ID = isoldgrit Bought and paid for X-Men 101 CGC 8.0 SS and weeks later he sent me an envelope containing Identity Block. How fitting as I just got scammed Luckily I filed a dispute a few days after I got tracking showing it is coming as an envelope. BEWARE!!
  18. awesome seller. Superb packaging and it came well protected. Would buy from again. Thanks so much.
  19. Who pays their mortgage with a check? My mortgage is at a different bank than my checking account. Otherwise I'd just do an auto-deduction. I wish I could start just using my Amex though if they take it. Earn points. Wait... can I do that? Because that would be brilliant. I need to look into that. I wish I can pay my student loans with credit cards that way I can get cash back or points to travel the world...
  20. Not eBay but Etsy... Seems like a scam to me? Low priced for an AF 2.5 cgc grade. Also user is brand new. How protected are you through PayPal if he sends you a print and not the comic? https://www.etsy.com/listing/236940680/amazing-fantasy-15-cgc-25-rare-blue
  21. I hate this when it happens!!! http://offer.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewBids&item=141662269029&rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.l2565 See where the guy put in a max bid of $26k WTH. Looking at his/her retraction history and it's apparently they do it offend. Is this considered shilling?
  22. That guy who is selling that 1/2 been buying up gen 13's on eBay and trying to resell them but little does he know it's a niche market
