  1. I'm in the market for a TOS 32 in 7.0 +.....very nice.
  2. Im pretty sure that book was in a green label at one time and a boardie owned it. It was smart to Reslab blue and what a beauty it is a 7.0
  3. Send the usual 2am text to remind me. Be happy I even respond to your texts after you left me in Tijuana
  4. the minute I finally break down and get a scanner that does slabs... I'm posting the lot of em...... anyone want to just buy a decent scanner for me, ship it to me and send me the bill at cost. It appear to be the only way I'll get it done.
  5. It can happen, undergrading does happen I just slabbed an FF100 that I bought as a VG at my LCS. Came back 9.2
  6. Your next at $236.30/book. Oh wait. A bid just came in at 236.80. Sorry
  7. Fast track seems to be a bit slow these days Pretty soon you'll have the better and faster than fast track pricing tier where they guarantee to be better than the old fast track grading and delivery, but no guarantee that it'll be on time. I see a trend of paying more to get in the front of the line. There could be a ton of pricing tiers . I'm thinking they need I do away with all tiers. They could have the pay $20 minimum or more and priority action of the list will just shift by that amount on a daily basis. If you really want your books quick, bid high and early and often.
  8. I'm happy with my 7.0 slab of 7 I think it'd be interesting to collect 1.0 #1 2.0 #2 3.0 #3 ..... It gets tougher past #10
  9. can someone post or link me to the print runs of all the first series printings... I think I recall a few ie. but where's the full list? thanks 1 1st 3,000 1 2nd 6,000 2 1st 15,000
  10. Great book I either bought it or have an incredibly similar copy. Books I regret selling I wish I had the superman 2 I sold to pointfive but I know he likes it. Selling a raw hulk 180-182 8.5 and ..$450. to divad but it paid for a lot of other stuff I'd bought Jim 83 via board auction for $460 :: 3.0 or so They all led to me getting other books though. It's all good
  11. Cheers to Nik......in our hearts and minds.....miss ya.
  12. just picked up a handful of early turtle books a few #2 2nd prints, a few #3 1st prints (one signed by eastman/laird), and a handful of #4 1st prints, Raphael 1 shot first prints and a copy of fugitoid... I haven't read these in years...some in really nice shape..... Here's a nice exampe of one....
  13. Made a call today to a fella that says he's got 16 boxes of comics that were his wife's deceased uncles (76 years old). Doesn't have a clue about the books, but wanted someone to tell him what they were worth. I drove over, looked at them, and the story didn't fit the books after I'd sifted through all the 15 short boxes, and pulled out the best items (ASM 300, Astonishing Tales 25, Walking Dead -script Book #1, Magnus Robot Hunter 2, 3 valiant days, and a few others like that) I told him the value of those books in general and said the rest would be the type of books a comic store has thousands of and probably wouldn't want. He asked me if I wanted to buy them, and I said nope, then he said did I want to just take them away, so I said ............. ok. The funny thing is I don't think his story was untrue....or at least part as he'd paid media mail to ship these boxes to Alaska to the tune of $14-$15/box...so he paid $225 just to ship these books up....too bad he didn't call me before he shipped as I'd have told him to leave them in Tennessee I gave the guy some cash anyway as there were some supllies, boards, bags, dividers etc and for the few books that I'd pulled out that were of interest. I'm laughingly wondering if I gave him too much as I sifted through the boxes later....just nothing I collect at all, but there was a short box full of gladstones and other later valiant issues, a run of the johhny quest, and other things like that might be a fun read. Just not my collecting focus.....oh well......if I can find the time, I'll take them down to the local auction house and sell them there for whatever to get my money back. I may put a few of the better books on the boards and see if there are any takers..... cheers
  14. MH copy just needs a little press. I'm sure it will be some day Makes me want to sub my copy
  15. Oh yeah. top census over the MH 8.0 is nice too
  16. One of my old copies! Mine too If I ever get it, I'm keeping it! I bought it, got an offer to sell it for quite a bit more and immediately bought another copy....so I got my copy for free but I do miss this one and CGC graded it higher than the grade it was sold to me at, or the grade I sold it at. Congrats. It's still a beauty.
  17. Monkey stamp. Yeah that's a common one and detracts horribly. Pm me your ask price. If they were in a barrel I'd offer more.
  18. That photo is a wealth of cools books history and nostalgia. I see one comic on that rack that I have and it's a Gerber 8 from what I recall.
  19. Added two to your list. (thumbs u Happy Thanksgiving to all ! Tucking can lead to surprises
