  1. I will assume that you are not replying directly to me.
  2. you should have bought gap coverage when you purchased the vehicle when you financed it. If you didn't finance it, I think you can still get that type of insurance in the future. I personally don't mind OT issues as long as the word comic is somewhere in the paragraph.
  3. I am going to put up a long list of slabbed books that I'm going to offer very cheaply to the boards to see if they fly out the door.....they are not mine, and I listed 90 of them a long while ago....sold about 1/3 of them, so I still have 60 or so sitting here that I don't need. Either they sell or I'm going to return them to my friend and let him deal with moving them along as I was doing it as a favor to him. No major big dollar books, but there are still a few decent books in there, and these are great for seeing old CGC grading trends as they are all old lable books. I will also be listing some raw FF's in high grade that are part of an OO collection I bought a while back....they are copper..... and maybe a few other things if there are any buyers.
  4. Like This? :: go back through my 10,000 posts and count how many are only gremlins and I'll be matching up quite poorly against the gremlin masters........pm me a list of new GGA GA books for being difficult today. I dunno, proof is in the pudding... 7th to know..............Don't I know it.............*&^(*^%&$ I need to start spending the big coin to get all of your attention....... No new GGA GA right now, if there were, you'd be the 7th to know!

  6. I thought the gremlin warfare was long ago silenced.....it is one of the worst parts of any thread when it happens.
  7. I think you nailed it there.....stockings probably weren't intended to be colored by Frazetta, as they don't look like stockings to me. Does she have stockings on in the book itself?
  8. I think it's the black cover error ....should be red and glistening.
  9. Wanna sell your 6.5 copy I just got it back and still haven't decided what's going on with it! I need to get the graders' notes and see why there was such a disconnect between me, the seller, and CGC. Normally I don't complain but we're talking about a substantial hit in value. I understand.......but pm me your asking price....::
  10. You were told to collect Fawcett, not Fiction House.
  11. Excellent pick up of fiction house glory.....every picture is dang....shoot....why not me....::
  12. Congrats on many of those...glad to see that CGC gave you a 9.6 W on the forever people 9.......cool beans. That's from an OO collection ............. it's a beauty.
  13. That quickly It took forty years. Congratulations of making sense of the original poster's sentence...I've read it a few times and it still sounds like Yoda-on-a-bender :: My name is Yoda, give me some pepsi soda ::
  14. It's easy as you weren't here to defend yourself. Not that returning a comment is even required. You come across as eccentric and pompous in many of my previous reading of your posts. ( I come across as sarcastic on occasion :: nobody's perfect) If that's the case, so be it. If you aren't, that's ok too. Show some funny books again, join the conversations, and be part of the community. If you love the comics, that's great, you are one of many here on the boards that truly love the art form etc.... I for one think your accomplishment is phenomenal. I have around 30-35K comics too, but as a percentage match to the books you have in your dc collection, they would be minimal. Cheers, Collin
  15. Love the Reds on that #23...nice planet pickups.
  16. It's only been 13 days since he was supposed to have shipped the book to you. Besides the fact that the rules of this thread allow a longer period than that before someone gets put on the probation list, I think it's also a little quick for you to start saying no one should buy from him. So what's the deal? 13 days with no communication would rank at best crappy service...i.e., if you were going on vacation or whatever you would PM the buyers before leaving so everyone knew the score...why isn't anyone saying what the deal is??? TR.....the seller (tablism) has reported back that the comic was found at his local post office this morning. Something about him screwing up and not adding my address at the automatic mailing machine at the post office. It will supposedly arrive tomorrow via overnight Express Mail. I'll let all of you know if it actually gets here tomorrow. Mike UPDATE: All is well. I just went to the post office to ship some comics and as soon as Deb saw me she said "Hey, I have an express package for you." So after I was done inside and went out to the car, I opened the box and there was the Spider-Man #1 CGC 9.8 Gold Edition from Chris. So he followed through on what he stated on Thursday and Friday. Thanks for completing the transaction and it's unfortunate the way the whole thing worked out. Mike P.S. Chris - you were wrong. You DID add a freebie in there - a Spider-Man #1 Green Edition. Thanks! Too bad it had to be a board drama, but we all have our days. congrats on getting your books.
  17. hopefully this is just a case of too busy to ship, and you'll get it soon...don't give up the faith.
  18. I hope he just dumps it all on craigs list at $5/book......first come first serve. He can then become compulsive collecting baseball cards or something else.
  19. I can smell the friendships blossoming on the boards.
