Darn i was rooting for you so I can trade you for Beach Heads. I need 4 for me and my kids.

Called 1st Target again and they found them. She brought them to guest services to hold but told me about the street date. Sure enough I get there and get denied. Manager lied and said supposedly they won’t ring up even though I told them they do. Called Corporate and they said yes they can sell them. I asked corporate to explain that to the manager while I walked back in the store. She was calling and had me on hold. I told the manager I was on the phone with corporate then all of the sudden he was going to let me get one. Asked if they ring? I was like Yes. Such a hard time just to get someone to do a little bit of extra work and realize their partner Hasbro moved up the street date. While I was Driving back I called the other Target. The guy just unloaded them and brought to customer service for me. Got there and self checked out.

I went to two targets this morning. At least at the first one I was first in line and no one else looking for toys. Popfindr inventory said 6, the store said 4 on the floor, but none were there. They were nice enough to check the back but couldn't find them. Same thing at the other target.

It's a very awesome figure. You should run to your target where they are holding them before someone else gets a chance to complain about you getting 6.

The thing is in this case the vendor hasbro made a public post on their twitter and instagram page they were releasing them early because of the preorder fiasco.

Thanks for the heads up. I have an appointment on thursday so all the info i can get ahead of time i appreciate it. 12" vaders arms are off. I may try to fix that some how. Unfortunately IG88s hands are broken Do you know what that piece of fur cloth is for? I thought it might have been an ewok hood but those all seem to be vinyl.

The first set of troopers i got off the pegs and made sure to self check out as i heard sometimes the cashiers would see that 8/14 street date and not want to sell them even though it's not register locked. Yes all the other times i had to argue about hasbro putting out an official statement that they are released early. I've been using popfindr. Good luck out there. I still haven't had these hit my local area and people are already getting wave 2 elsewhere. Madness i tell you.

I'm thinking of keeping Boba Fett and maybe restoring the white tie fighter. I'll probably unload the SW stuff to a local collectible shop. I think I actually need the hovercraft fin to have a full set. I'm glad that worked out

I’m exhausted, but if I was to know where another score was I would make it happen again tomorrow. So much driving these past couple days. But worth it! Saw a killer lot with a few random pictures for $50. I was all over it. The tub was huge. Here are some pics. I had no idea sand crawlers were worth so much. While I was out there I hit up a couple targets and managed to get a few more troopers for friends. Also picked up a random Bucky o hare that I still haven’t found time to open.

I got lucky and found the troopers on the first try. Roadblock on the other hand I think I made 5 trips. They are some of the best 6” figs I’ve seen

This is hilarious

I had an awesome GI Joe day!! Took a big risk and headed out with the fam at 6 in the morning for a couple hour drive so we could divide and conquer the Target exclusives! Got real lucky and the first Target I went to had Cobra Trooper on the pegs so I swooped some up for me and my boys. When I asked about Beach Head I got stone walled with the 8/14 release date. I tried to explain about the earlier date but no one seems to want to look into anything. The other Target couldn’t find them and finally the 3rd I had someone go in the back to get them only to have them walk out with a manager that refused to listen about an updated street date. So close...Later I heard after everyone was complaining to corporate they finally sold the figures. By that time I was long gone already. I’ll have to track Beach Head down later. Still really stoked to have some Troopers. Roadblock I picked up locally a couple days ago. Shout out to Shawn for the hook up on the Joe vehicles!! I can’t wait to get these all cleaned up and battle ready! Also picked up a nice lot of Joe books from We Can Be Heroes comic shop. Great shop and awesome people to buy books from.

Picked some empty boxes at an estate sale. They’re nice and still have the flag points. I finally made a blue print album and framed skystriker. Got a Serpentor in the mail from a friend (already had the chariot and dagger) and a blue snake armor!

I had been wanting a firebat for a minute. Now I just need a Terrordrome This is one of the best threads on the boards!
