Some books I got in this week

Opened up this Megatron I got from Hasbro pulse. Pairs nice with the Joe books I just got back from CGC.

Some books and mags I got in. Spectacular Spider-Man has some distributor ink on top.

I love the rolling thunder! Definitely one of the better made later vehicles. Congrats on the addition to your collection.

I had some mags that were at grading/encapsulation since that was created. Just went to QC today.

How did I miss this post?! Freaking amazing! Those are some collecting goals right there. Some very cool pieces. And he combined the detolfs together. I’ve never seen that before. Lots of great display ideas. I’m getting a terrordrome in the next couple of weeks. I have no idea how I’m going to display it. Kudos to your friends collection. I know he put a ton of work into that collection

Took me a few days from the last post but I finally got some of these books off to CGC for grading. Yes, same sale as little doom. ASM 129 is going to get signed by Roy Thomas so hopefully the turn around on that one isn't too long. Each estate sale is different. Some will sell in bulk. Others are individual book prices. In this case they just found the boxes of comics so they didn't have time to look up almost a thousand books. It's one of those things. The estate sale people are hired to sell the contents of the house. These books weren't bagged and boarded and from the sound of it stashed away somewhere. So they weren't real stand out items. There was a lot of other valuable stuff there as well that is out of my wheelhouse. Fancy clothes, dish sets, glassware, I missed out on the 60s/70s Joes while I was getting comics... A lot of the books had water damage unfortunately. I would say average condition to be around vg - fine. Thanks for the congratulations. I was glad I got to share the moment with my son. Usually I'm solo on a lot of these trips. As far as what I didn't get was mostly DC stuff I don't collect. There was a lot of Superman books.

Joes are pretty much the only toy line I regularly collect so it’s not so bad for me. Still it’s hard to keep up sometimes. I’m just glad they don’t regularly come out in waves of 6 like marvel legends.

It really is a perfect set. Part of me wants to get away from the line but how do you say no to figures like these? Plus BBQ and breaker with the RAM motorcycle! It actually seems like Hasbro is starting to listen to the fans. No more figures with the odd gold shin guards and they are going with the more traditional look. I was expecting this snake eyes to have nerf guns like the other one but they made him right.

Wow @F For Fake Awesome haul! I still have my childhood Jetfire and Shockwave. Jetfire is probably my favorite transformer as well. I almost bought a boxed one a couple times but wanted a really white one. Your's is perfect. Best of luck on the rest of the stuff you are after.
