    What's your opinion of 'quick press'? How does one decide if a book needs a press, or if a quick press would do?

    I used it once. A few books with minor issues benefitted. Still I had a couple I was disappointed on. For only a couple dollars more I just get the full service treatment now.

    Seems they are working some overtime. My prescreen went to shipped last night and last Sunday I got reply back to an email I had sent them. :headbang:

    TFAW is VF comic central, and they also only guarantee VF copies via delivery. Can never get a good copy from them. They are usually one of my last resorts.

     

    I got lucky. Out of 5 books I had 2 King Conan hour of the Dragon #1 that I had signed and they graded a 9.8. But you are right they only guarantee VF and ship in envelopes.

     

    I bought those Spidergwen and Silk connecting covers from Hastings and they were vf when I got them and came in an envelope.

    They have everything wrong on the Order status page. I have sent an e-mail to try and straighten it out and received a reply this morning claiming it was corrected. It was not. Sent another e-mail, hopefully they will get it right.

     

    Looks like the got the order straightened out, except they verified the books out of order compared to the invoice.

    I know everyone remembers Star Wars hot topic....Just found out the grades on the three I sent in. All 9.8s baby!!!!! :whee: One is for a friend and I'll probably sell one on Instagram (I haven't sold on ebay yet).

     

    Now I just need to come up with a price. Any recommendations? I'm the first one with these according to the census.

     

    I'll let everyone know what the label says when I get them. My guess it will just say "Hot Topic Edition" and not mention the recall.
