Here's my entry with my original copy from the 90s. I have another higher grade copy currently being pressed and graded. But, this one has a special place for me

Here's my entry into the club. Bought this back in December from the original owner at an 8.0. Had some waviness and slight spine roll. Pressed to an 8.5

I got my grade today. I knew it wouldn't grade too high, but its my original book from the 90s that I read a lot so to my surprise it got a respectable 9.0.

I'll upgrade later to a 9.8 but I don't think I'll get rid of my 9.0

Great Book! You should have it pressed before grading. It will take out that waviness and make it look nice and flat in the holder. Plus it might go up in grade a little.

Good Score! I also picked up a Star Lord special for $1 the other day and Infinity Gauntlet for $1 both NM-

Let's see. Reason why I like Archangel...

He has the whole fighting the inner demon thing, flies at super speeds, metal wings are razor sharp that sometimes have a mind of their own, can shoot projectile bullet feathers laced with poison, and was a badass member of X-Force.

I'm hoping he will be in the Apocalypse movie or at least the X-Force movie

Nice! Deadpool 1 Circle chase is also heating up. 9.8s sell for around $80. I sent mine off to be graded. I got lucky yesterday and found one for 50 cents at the flea market.

Such a great book. I can't wait until mine comes back from being graded. I'm glad I requested it early from LCS.

I've noticed X-Factor 24 (1st Archangel) has had a nice spike since the Apocalypse movie announcement. 9.8s are going for $200 as compared to $160 before the announcement. There's not too many of them in the census.

Maybe with X-Men: Apocalypse coming we'll get to see Deadpool in an X-Force movie soon.

I love this book! I was too young when it came out to get a copy at the neighborhood liquor stores before they had LCSs where I lived. But as soon as I was like 10 and reading comics Deadpool was one of my favorites if not my most favorite. Finally when the 90s was in full swing all of the sudden there was like 3 or 4 comic stores in town. I remember I searched for awhile (like months), but eventually I found a copy for $10 . Of course I proudly displayed this book along with all the Deadpool trading cards. Read it a few times back then as an adolescent...Fast forward to earlier this year. Luckily when I went into the military I had stored my comics at grandma's house and now that I'm out I went through my old comics wondering what to do with them as most of them were "Hot" image books that are not worth anything. Still I had to look through all the books (about 3 short boxes) just in case. Then there it was, Deadpool!!! As I did with my other books I looked it up to see if it had any value and was like holy cow! I couldn't believe it. Right then and there I knew my collecting was all worth it. Still, I came across some more books as my family was unpacking into our new home and came across other Deapool books from the 97' ongoing series that I managed to pick up while I was still in the service, simply because I loved the character and sure enough I got a Deadpool 55. I now can't get enough of comics and my kids know all the characters too! My new mutants 98 is probably about an 8.5 but I still plan on sending it off to get graded along with a few other books soon. Hopefully someday I'll get a 9.8 copy.
