  1. the constant nagging and all... Woman, she does not understand the passion of a man. Not that I'm a chauvinist, I love my wife. I respect every female walking the planet. But pls respect mine. Been working 12-18hrs straight a day, sometime you just want to steal some time away to look at things you could never afford when you were a kid. You get: - to relive a dream - to feel alive when keeping a passion and a hobby - to stay away from other more evil temptation.... - to make new friends from all around the world - to learn about other unique cultures - to receive nice little gift like the one attached. I'm not spending away our retirement fund honey... I just want to buy comics... To see old comments for this Journal entry, click here. New comments can be added below.

  3. bought 50 books from Jared. 50 books!!!!! and found a very good friend.
  4. Just like striking lottery, without any cash reward that is. It's not everyday you get the raw and a slab of the same title to come through the mail on the same day. From different seller of course. Wish I'd be that lucky with the next lottery... To see old comments for this Journal entry, click here. New comments can be added below.
  5. wow...this is really hardcore stuffs... thanks for the tips...
  6. Abbey Road? Ever since I came back to collection,it's been fast and furious. But...somehow...I still find my liking lies with the old school way of comics when everything else was hand drawn. These days, everything was CGI-ed. That's sad... However,I found fond of these 2 covers. Always dreamt of an all-female X-team and the Abbey rd combo was just hilarious and too good to not keep a copy. It was a bonus to get both signed. 7. Itchy fingers me acquired a book cheaply without COA. "even with COA these days are quite easily counterfeited" but....what the heck I thought. It's like something so good I cannot let it passed by. But can someone actually verify these 2 signatures? [Joe Pruett (writer)] [Mark Texeira (penciler)] Am I right to identify these 2 signatures? Please share your views. Thanks. To see old comments for this Journal entry, click here. New comments can be added below.
  8. A vengeful kid grew up... I grew up poor and not being able to have my own toys and comics, always having to get what the other kids discarded. Now, I am able to get more!!!!! And no one is taking them away from me!!!!! (er...unless they offer me a good price.) PS. Glad to have my childhood dreams still living. To see old comments for this Journal entry, click here.
