Only a couple more days!

So I teased last week I had something coming soon... Check out this commission by local NYC artist, soon to be famous comic book artist Crees Lee. Battle Beast V. Superman. Check out Crees' Art on Facebook

So, yeah. As an Invincible OA collector, I saw that cover as a monumental page in Invincible/Ottley history. I felt it belongs in a collection that is worthy of its awesomeness, and that my friends, is why I bought it. In my opinion, an absolute steal at that price. Cheers!
Congrats Sir!

Geez, 2k? That's more than I thought the cover would go for, but that's probably because I'm one of the low bidders!

Would you believe that when I first read the new issue I accidentally skipped two pages, during the fight scene too!
-
Just read the new issues.... always good stuff from the Invincible team! Ottley is clutch as always!

i dont see Aaron as a major character.
typical RK Troll
Kirkman didn't say it was a "Major Character" or "Lead Character" just that a gay character from the comics would be introduced. He was debunking the "Daryl is gay" comment but sharing that a gay character from the comics would be introduced in a key role and that he was excited for that dynamic and relationship to be added to the show.
But... We can all revisit this post in Feb when I'm right
Casting News... I told you so!

Walking Dead TV Show Casting News... Do I have to say spoilers? I assuming you have all read the comics.

I'd love if Ryan put out a larger format art book with all his comissions + doodles + scribble game he does with his son. I think he could pretty easily fund a kickstarter for it, especially if he had some tiers with OA

So I am considering selling my Walking Dead collection ... thoughts?
I have issues 6-current, many CGC'd key issues, some signed. I am torn on whether to wait or just pull the trigger and sell? I could use the money and the collection takes up a lot of space. I am local to NYC so if I sell hopefully I can avoid shipping the books by finding a local buyer.
Any advice? Anyone on the boards know someone local to NYC that might be interested?
Private message me any question and comments.
Cheers!

So I bought Ryan's second sketch book on eBay recently "Violence and Pinwheels"...
congrats! thats my favorite! i love seeing all the commissions collected. the main reason i buy the trades is because of the sketchbook section in the back. absolutely love that. cool seeing the process and reading a little insight as to the production of certain pages.
One of my commissions was in the most recent trade!

So I bought Ryan's second sketch book on eBay recently "Violence and Pinwheels"... Can someone confirm he just has 3 sketch books yes?
Any one have a line on a good copy of the first one I can get somewhere?

Jupiter's Middle Aged Adults..

It's actually happening... The new issue, 3 different covers, will be on comic shop shelves next week!
I am selling the Frank Quitely Original art for Cover #5 on eBay if anyone is interested.

Happy New Year to all the Invincible Fans on this planet and other planets... I am looking forward to what Kirkman and Ottley give us in 2015.
-
This book desperately needs to get back on a regular schedule. I pick up my books monthly from my LCS and I'm always disappointed when it isn't in the stack.
Have you read the letter section of issue 115? Kirkman addresses this, explains the addition of the new colorist, apologizes for the delays and says that Invincible will be moving toward a SAGA-like schedule, where the arc is scheduled and released monthly without delay but there might be some scheduled delays between story arc's.

Anyone bid on that run signed by Ottley? I wish it hadn't been around the holidays. It didn't go for too much either. If it had been in a month or two I probably would have gone after it.
Yeah... The same buyer got the complete Ottley run, the color sketch and the sketch book.
I wonder who it could be
Translation = It was me

All my Ottley art is in a storage unit since my place in SF is so small. I miss it. I get to see it in a few days.
