Not sure my local Forbidden Planet has that many statues for sale!
Very nice setup
-
Same here, built so many paper models that I never got round to fibreglassing, just sitting on my shelf now.
Sorry, of course it's a costume, because I'M BATMAN
-
Nice batcave, nice costume too, not a member of the RPF are you?

Sorry, missed your post
My wife is a librarian, they are the stands she uses on her book displays.
I managed to...... acquire some
They are just bent plastic really!
Better pic:

None, you should never use any lighting, curtains should always be closed with blinds, you should wander round in the dark and just imagine what your comics look like
Personally, mine are in the spare room which is rarely used apart form me, I just use standard lighting and keep the curtains closed to avoid any direct sunlight when I am not in there.
I think reference has been made previously to that amount of time that books spend on walls at conventions without too much issue.
I am sure someone with a better answer will be along shortly...

hmmm.....gaming consoles in a comic room....
I had a bit of a back cupboard find the other day which I thought I would set up, I am slowly taking over the room from SWMBO now...
My original NES, Gameboy and Sega Master System from when I was a kid, along with boxed games, guns and controllers. Just trying to get hold of a CRT to play them on now:
Which means my side of the room is looking more like this now (I have shown similar to this before in this thread):

Went to Berlin for a few days this month, found a random stall in a flea market selling comics, thought it might be cool to pick up a couple of German variants...
and
Only a couple of Euros each, and bought just for fun, but I would like to find the US versions if they are available... can anyone help?

Really really impressed with Al on our recent deal, a great range of book at a great price.
As it was his first time shipping to the UK I anticipated some delays in getting it all sorted, but he was quick and good to deal with, and so very quick!
Hope to deal with again sometime,
P.

Lots of awesome comics, very nice. Looks like you have an extra Doctor Strange
hahah I do indeed, one is a 5.0, the other an 8.0. I upgraded without selling the original, but I am open to offers on both....maybe....

Thanks guys, much appreciated
I am using these:
My missus works as a library manager, so I have a plentiful supply

Really cool books guys, I am so tempted to go for an upgrade of my 1.5.... but there seems to be a massive gap between 1.5 and 2.5 in prices at the minute...
gpa puts 1.5 as falling, everything else going up, any particular reasons?

TALES OF SUSPENSE #39 CLUB

Hi Folks,
I was just having a browse through GPA and notice my that the value on a 1.5 has soared with a sale of $3116, much higher than the $2472 sale in May.
Is there particular reason for this, or is it just a really lucky sale?
Cheers
