Tried this in the grading section to crickets. There's a Facebook group that just released a book on stain removal which I have ordered. Using peroxide method for stain removal and blue LED light exposure in a light box. Blue LED is used to whiten teeth, over exposure will adversely effect the colour (yes, that is the proper way to spell colour) Many books have already been through CGC with blue labels but some with too much of the methods got a PLOD like the batman pictured. It went from a 3.5 uni to a restored 3.5 at Voldemort's place (pics from the FB group) As is the mantra of pro-pressers: you are not adding anything to the book, so it's not resto, apparently peroxide is used in the paper/print process. Exposing to light isn't really adding anything tangible The stain removal methods will remove foxing and stains so I'm very interested in that considering how harsh CGC is on foxing https://www.amazon.com/Comic-Book-Stain-Removal-Whitening/dp/B09QJXBJ3X/?fbclid=IwAR0nbbMgcFLRtZ4RKGbcpAy1dh-2GAEIVkZEWNoAMSPfV5Ay6c9iQHxjt34

Bronze age comics that are heating up on eBay...
Quicksilver Signs replied to PeterPark's topic in Bronze Age Comic Books
The Bryne run is awesome in this title, Claremont writer maybe? Been years since I read them I remember reading the Tigra issue when she was Kraven's slave and being very creeped out by it as a kid. Of course Bryne's women were drawn pretty, pretty, pretty good. -

By far the most ridiculous aspect of collecting is the 9.8 chasers, considering the inconsistency of grading. -

Okay I'll take this, I believe it's from 1975 though (which merits a $5.00 off no-prize) Too bad they didn't use the original cover -

This is one of those examples where if you have 2 9.8’s and one has this printing defect which book would EVERYONE choose. Doesn’t make sense that it would have the same value. Same goes for Marvel chipping -

I’d put Marvel Feature 1 before the mags since mags have zero street cred -

I don’t think I’ve ever read a Star Wars book. Can’t be worse than Star Wars 41 “first” Yoda. He appears in silhouette on the last panel and is not even named. Unless you count the ESB preview article at the end of the book I guess -
