  1. Nice, well played sir. I wonder how long these will hold value for
  2. I think it was about $20 or $25 shipped for one of the signed copies. I've seen a few listed, as The Authority pointed out. Once I saw this thread I was on the lookout for a copy since on your website they were sold out. And no problem, thank you. It was a very cool story and I look forward to seeing where it goes. The characters seemed very realistic. That Silvestri sketch is pretty dope, btw.
  3. That was for Neopacket, I was asking what he sold the Eminem cover for.
  4. I ordered a bunch through DCBS can't wait. 1) RRP 2) 18 3) 4
  5. I still prefer Saga, but only slightly, and because you get a little bit of everything with it. I'm in love with BKV's writing as a whole and have become a huge fan of Staples. And I'm a sucker for a good LetterCol. EoW continues to get stronger as the pieces fall into place and is utterly epic and grandiose in scale. Neck and neck for me. I just feel lucky I get to read two truly great titles.
  6. The new issue was amazing as usual, a couple very humorous lines, including the start of the book. Kind of light on the action, but I'm sure that will ramp up soon and the ending has me biting my nails in anticipation to see what will happen with a main, fan-favorite character. 5/5 Lying Cats (Can't wait for the LC cover for 18 to come out)
  7. Surprising, the are two of my top 3 reads currently, Batman being the other. I feel like Saga is a very accessible book as well. I wonder how YTLM used to do, I wasn't tracking it when it was being released.
  8. I have two candidates that should get 9.8 easily, so I hope so...
  9. Ahh I see. I have heard of the infamous Dre. Thanks for the heads up
  10. Who are these subscription people that you get 9.8 and 9.8+'s from? I didn't know this was even a possibility
  11. Haha I could not make the person out for the life of me when I saw the first pic earlier, and now after seeing the second pic that's all I see.
  12. Just got my NYCC hardcover the other day and reread that and issue 6, and I can't wait for 7 this week. Even better reading on the second go-around, and I'm pretty pumped for some Ranger action
  13. He's great. I loved his appearances on Attack of the Show back in the day. Also, he really needed to bring his A game after last week's debacle with MM Man I miss Attack of the Show and Kevin Periera...
  14. Ernie is an asset to the boards. Great communication, shipped quickly, made the entire transaction very easy, he is a great seller. I look forward to working with him in the future and so should you!!!
  15. http://www.ebay.com/itm/like/350880233163?lpid=82 Just wanted to check before purchasing, how does this deal look to everyone? Any tips and heads-up would be appreciated as I am not too familiar with scanners. Thanks
  16. Thanks to any and all for posting, always a pleasure to deal with great sellers/buyers!!!
  17. Bought a couple books from Brandon at a great price, quick shipping, nice and painless. Great seller, I highly recommend working with him!!
  18. Hey guys, my name's Eric and I started reading comics when I was young lad in the early 90's. Superman's Death, Batman's back being broken by Bane, and Wolverine's Adamantium being ripped from his body are three distinctive memories I have from reading and collecting, along with all the early Image stuff. I gave up reading comics around High School, was still interested in a lot of the ideas, just was pretty preoccupied with girls and other distractions. Started reading and collecting again around 2004, and have since been completely obsessed again. I collect pretty much all things Batman, but my collection and reading interests range from Sandman, MircaleMan to Saga, Y: the Last Man, East of West, and a ton of other indies and small prints. I seek out raws and graded books, signed and unsigned. Just kind of stumbled on this site and I'm glad I joined, wish I would've been here sooner. I attended my first Con this year in WizWorldChi and loved it, so I plan on attending many more (I already have my tickets to C2E2), hopefully will see some of you in person at some. I majored in English at Northern Illinois University and write Fiction, Poetry, and am developing a few comic ideas I have that I would eventually like to self-publish, just trying to find artists to collaborate with, as I cannot draw very well myself. Ran into someone I knew growing up at WWC that draws and has been doing some small print comics work, so I have been talking to him some to try to get the old ball rolling. I have been very active on the boards since joining a month or two ago, and am very happy to be here, nothing like good conversation with like-minded individuals. So, thanks for having me and WTTB to the other noobs like me!!!
  19. Will do. I always try to read books slowly and let everything soak in, especially well drawn ones. Oftentimes, the art is the car showing you the scenery and getting you where you need to go while the writing is the music you listen to while getting there. Nothing better than when there is cohesion between the writer and artist, almost always makes for a great overall experience.
  20. I really need to start reading this book, don't know why I've been apprehensive. I have liked pretty much everything else Hickman has done (don't really read Marvel but I hear I should check out his FF run). Just need to grab the trades I suppose, maybe this week.
