  1. I have a 9.8 double SS that isn't going to budge. Would like another one or two at the right price. The ones that have been on ebay for a while are top dollar and haven't had success trying to get a decent price drop. And that Lying Cat cover is sick, got my Lying Cat t-shirt about a month ago and I love it
  2. One sold raw on Ebay for $202.50 earlier today. I personally really like the cover, it's pretty epic and grandiose, has a kind of movie poster vibe
  3. +1 on this! Hell I'd settle to see more raws pop up. Question about the raws with printing defects. How much does this impact the grade? I've seen a couple gnarly print rolls, but just not sure what those would grade out at otherwise in great shape.
  4. Yeah Pretty Deadly for sure, or maybe if they gave Joker's Daughter an ongoing
  5. Why don't you just PM Branget and ask him if he has any available? I did a couple weeks ago and he gave me first crack at the 9.8 Pia SS, just had other books I was trying to buy. If it was BKV signed I would have snagged it. Just got me a 9.6 BKV SS, that'll have to do for now. Looking for a EoW RRP though, have a raw on the way, but now I need a graded. Have a lead on one, won't be for about a month though
  6. For sure, last one was a 9.8 double-sig that Branget sold for $585 I believe, and I really wanted to grab it and balked at the end, still kicking myself. Just personally looking for that BKV signed 9.8 with or without Pia, preferrably with. Two Blue Label BINs both at $480 or above on the bay now so $430 signed was pretty decent.
  7. Haha shoes indeed, I have that same problem... Sandman is usually another go-to, depends on the girl
  8. Very nice books, I somehow found a girl that is interested in comics though not a collector, but I have her reading my YTLM trades, Mad Love HC and will soon give her Saga.
  9. Somebody sniped me at the end. I hope it was a boardie. It sat right around $300 for a while, but I knew it was going to jump hard at the end. Would have been in the mix if it was BKV approved, still a really nice book though.
  10. Yeah me to unfortunately, I was going to grab that 9.6 and am now kicking myself...
  11. A little steep for a raw, but these have been hot. One just sold on these boards for $350 for a 9.6 yellow signed by Dragotta. I'd definitely try to make an offer.
  12. Great read, perfect pacing imo. That ending has me on the edge of my seat. Not really my favorite genre, but can't wait for #2.
  13. And I asked about a witness for the Gold, but got no reply unfortunately. Still had to have it.
  14. I actually just snagged that up. Couldn't resist.
  15. I also really enjoyed Morrison's run on Batman, I just didn't want to see Damian go. It's funny, I've seen a lot of people hate on what Morrison did on Batman, but I liked everything about it even though it was out there. I enjoyed the Dicky Grayson Batman and his dynamic with Damian especially in the first Batman and Robin series. It really injected new life into a book that was getting pretty stale before Morrison took over. And now with what Snyder's done I've just been spoiled with Bat-greatness.
  16. I picked up a couple of the Staples' variants just cuz I really dig her work
  17. And this is what I like about this board; there have been numerous objective and informative opinions on new books. It's through this board that I became informed with titles such as Afterlife With Archie and the rerelease of Miracleman. Thank you boardies for such informative posts. +1 Couldn't agree more and happy to be here and participating with like-minded individuals.
  18. Haters gonna hate!!!! Regardless one of my faves as well and a solid book thus far. Wish it was more regular, but it's a fairly dense read that can engulf you in the story. I really like the art as is personally, but it is what it is.
  19. The RRP is amazingly gorgeous. Picked up a 9.8 double SS recently and do not regret it at all. Love the book and because of it I seek out all other Staples work. And Vaughn is top notch. Really do wish there was OA tho.
  20. not sure I like this display method. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Sept-1993-The-Batman-Batgirl-Adventures-12-1st-First-Harley-Quinn-Show-/171148490722?pt=US_Comic_Books&hash=item27d93eb7e2 That's just the super laid back way of saying, "This book's so cool it doesn't even care about it's condition. You know you want it..." and with an extra wrinkled up dirty bag to match!! How could you not pay $100+ for that? Picked one up at easily 9.6 at WizWorldChi '13 for $90!!!! On a coin flip nonetheless. Seller wanted $130 I believe. I could sense the heat then, didn't know it would get this crazy.
  21. Just ordered some due to this thread, can't wait to see the doodled copies and read the story. Didn't even hear about this book until I saw this thread. Don't know what I was doing with my life before I joined these boards!!!
