  1. Shame this isn't a real poster... __________________ Bats (Team Peroxide)
  2. ME TOO! Even 30 years later, I still tend to use terms like "Streethawk" and "Manimal"... in a somewhat sarcastic manner, of course
  3. OK, just mix in a little Blue Thunder and dash of Air Wolf and you might have something. But actually, I used watch Street Hawk religously as a kid. I used to have the action figure and bike wind up toy. Believe it or not... "Airwolf Vs Blue Thunder" was movie idea no.2 ___________________________________________________ If you remember Automan, you've watched WAY too much TV...
  4. That man sure has some range! _____________________________________________________________ Movie idea: "Knightrider Vs Streethawk" ... Come on! You know you want it!
  5. Having never watched Glee, it's only just dawned on me that Melissa Benoist sings... There's a hidden musical agenda, I just know it! ____________________________________________ N.B. "Once More With Feeling" is not a show template
  6. If so, I wonder if they'll be portrayed as supportive parents, a bit like Ma and Pa Kent? It would be good to see them in a good old fashioned family role...and with some decent airtime too! Not quite so sure about this mix & match approach to the character names though... _______________________________ As happy as a penguin in a microwave
  7. My first name. (thumbs u OHHH... sorry bud! Seriously, I thought you were misspelling Jor-El. Happens way too often... _____________________________________ Pointlessly faking signatures since post no. 72
  8. Aww shucks... my first golf clap _______ Jerel...?
  9. I still say Teri Hatcher gave the best performance as Lois Lane. Looks aside, she played a similiar duality with Clark of being bossy and confident as reporter Lois, yet lonely and needy on the inside. Once the reporters stopped mining that aspect when Superman id'd himself to her, the show lost that edge too, as they were always together. Absolutely! Teri Hatcher She was a great Lois Lane. However, it all went south when she cut hair her... ___________________________________ Remembering WHALTTA. A turning point...
  10. FLASHTASTIC! _____________ Yay! 111 posts!
  11. So that's what the picture would've looked like if the photographer had remembered the flashgun... Still needs to be blonder though... ______________________________________________ Bats (Team Peroxide) ... Shameless swipe, I apologise...
  12. It would appear the producers have opted for the tried and tested plain look. Poor Kara... The inclusion of Toyman is quite interesting. This means we're either going to see some amazing technology in CGI... or the show overrun with stupid gadgets designed to kill Supergirl in a number of ridiculous ways Psst... producers. Don't watch Lois & Clark Seasons 3 & 4 for ideas ok? __________________________________________________ I'm not sure I can get used to the whole "Kara Danvers" thing...
  13. Phone in hand. Bag under one arm. National City Tribune under the other. Pastries resting precariously on the tray... There really is no margin for error, is there? "ARRGH! THE PASTRIES!"
  14. I have a sneaking suspicion you may have a thing for women with glasses That's an interesting theory you have there... however I think it's just the good old glasses = disguise routine.

  16. That's a complex "wig and glasses" right there... Supergirl was the protoplasmic Matrix and the civilian form was Linda Danvers, with whom Matrix had merged. Later on in the series, after Matrix separates from Linda, Linda (a brunette) carries on as Supergirl wearing a blonde wig. A great series... if a little complicated at times.
  17. In one of the Modern Books she wears glasses and a wig. I think maybe she does the same deal in The Superman Animated Adventures too. Still hot. She did in the Animated Series and also experimented with the wig and glasses in "Secret Identities" drawn by Ian Churchill (a great issue). I was thinking more along the lines of is this going to be a permanent disguise in the series? You know Clark... those glasses never fooled me
  18. Reported to be "on set", not sure if this is between takes but I don't remember Kara wearing glasses They're not going to do a "Clark" are they?
  19. Helen Slater appearing in the new Supergirl TV series? Absolutely a dream come true, yes.
  20. Yes, the perfect choice. Couldn't ask for a better actress. Her screen presence is quite simply breathtaking... Can we bleach her hair now?
  21. Can you say "propaganda"... That article basically says everything we've said but with a positive spin! ...It's almost as if they'd been reading this thread
