  1. I wouldn't necessarily agree with you, however it does give rise to an interesting question... Hair or Costume!?! Hair or Costume ... Hair or Costume ... Hair or Costume ...
  2. The costume is based on the "modern classic" blue top with red skirt, however it's just poorly designed, poorly made and has the wrong choice of materials. The boots should have stopped below the knees, as per the classic look. The knee covers just look a bit silly. The boots you're referring to are the thigh high boots Supergirl wore with a minidress following a change in costume: These worked together, as per the fashions of the day, although didn't last long before the next costume change. I should mention "Buccaneer" boots are the boots Power Girl wears with her classic costume: I have an issue with the new costume because it's dull and lifeless... although I will say it could have been worse! Supergirl is my favourite superheroine and I was very disappointed when I saw the costume. It should have been brighter, smoother and most importantly... more feminine! It's just not very flattering. The designers should have gone with the classic blue dress: MB would look adorable...
  3. It was a great costume, wasn't it? Superheroes could wear bright colours back in the 70s/80s... but not any more Nothing was ever the same after the 90s... I guess the costume designers listened to too much Grunge
  4. They should have kept the gold trim... It would work even with the darker suit. It works around the S...
  5. It's the Man Of Steel treatment. Still don't like what they did to Supes costume in that and I'm a Batman fan! Man of Steel on a lower budget. A full length cape would've been preferable, however not very practical I'd imagine. She'd probably trip over it.
  6. Developments in Argo City technology led to the creation of the Omegahedron Mini...
  7. I don't want Supergirl to look like a teenage whore... :: -slym ( ) It's called "cheerleader chic" ...
  8. It's a little plain and dull... needs to be brighter. Still, it could have been worse. It's nice to see a return to the proper 'S' even if it doesn't have the yellow background. Supergirl's hair though... IT SHOULD BE BRIGHT BLONDE!!!! Someone please tell me there's a bottle of peroxide somewhere on the set... I hate it! I agree it needs to be brighter. Cape needs to be shorter or longer. The fabric is to latexy like in those superhero pornos out there ( ). I think the knees on those boots are gonna be distracting too. I can live with her hair color, but a smile wouldn't hurt. Did I say I hated it? Yep those boots don't work. There should be knees... even Post-Flashpoint Supergirl has knees! Can someone show the producers a pic of Michael Turner's Supergirl!?! As for the tights... heavy Kryptonian Denier or not, they're still going to ladder

  10. LEX LUTHOR! OK probably not but the resemblance is uncanny...
  11. Emma Samms Sounds great! I think I'm going to break out my DVDs... Now, if I can only remember how to set my player to "full screen" mode Teri Hatcher would not appreciate being widened, I'm sure...
  12. Bought the first three seasons of Lois & Clark at a dollar store today (20% off too ). I remember watching that show in '93 (my HS senior year), just grateful there was something from a funnybook on. That was the good 'ol days. Yes... Good old days And definitely an entertaining show. The first two seasons were the best, then it started going downhill a bit. It got a bit too silly. Still I guess WB had to lower the viewer's expectations in preparation for that Clooney film...
  13. Thanks for the tip but I'll pass... I'm surprised she doesn't do it more often. After all, the cold never bothered her anyway... OK, I'll let it go. (thumbs u Nice one!

  15. Exactly! In TV land thirty-somethings play the parents of twenty-somethings all the time. And I never knew Elsa was in a Glee! I might have to start watching it...
  16. Is it just me or does anyone else think it's not really going to be much of an issue...?
  17. For a second, I thought you were saying "Hey now! "
  18. It's good to see they're both getting some recognition. Dean Cain made a pretty decent 90s TV Superman and to me, Helen Slater will always be Supergirl.
  19. Hmm... too cute, perhaps? I guess Helen Slater was unavailable...
  20. I think she'd be more appropriate to play Power Girl. Why the hell don't we have a jaw drop smiley for situations like this? Power Girl with a regional British accent? Interesting... I guess she could fake an American accent... but anyone remember Michelle Ryan as the Bionic Woman...? EXACTLY!
