  1. I just take her out of that pgx holder and she wont be worse for the wear
  2. Lizards2 does this mean your as sharp as a bowling ball
  3. The bid would show your 2066 unless you did not get the bid in before it ended ? or it rejected your bid for some reason like it thought you put in 20.66 other wise I would call them and say what's up. If the book was at 1877 than 1977 would have been the next bid I would think.
  4. I have never seen this story?. PGX is not in the same class as CGC we all know that. I have talked to Daniel and he is not a total dummy on comic book's and I hope that this is not true . I agree they do over grade on most books but not all. I have seen stories where a CGC book has been sent to them after cracked out and come back with a lower grade than CGC gave the book or the same. I will be the first to say I only trust CGC grading 100%. if I was buying
  5. I just want to Clarify that CGC is the # 1 grading company to me. I had my Detective 27 on ebay as a raw EX restored 4.5 in 2007. I live 45 north of SF and 600k houses where selling for cheap and I wanted to buy a 2nd home. The Tec 27 only got to 17k with a 25k reserve. I drove to pgx so I could have my books back in 1 day i thought with a 3rd party opinion would get the book to reach my 25k reserve that's why they are graded by pgx. I have no problem sending the books to CGC when I want to sell if it gets a CGC grade drop to 3.5 I don't care. I am a collector and don't need money now that I never got my 2nd home.
  6. I have been collecting for 40 years and I know how to grade. I have drove up to pgx and had them grade my Tec 1 and 27 and Batman 1 and they are spot on to what I would have gave the books. I had them graded by them so I could have a 3rd party grade my books to sell. I don't think they are that far off. I always thought CGC was to hard on grading by a point that's good for the buyer. I would say if you buy a PGX book and its 6.0 buy it as a 5.0 that CGC would grade it and you will be fine. Restoration I don't know how good they are but they are like you and me on grading. I will say the got my Hulk 1 wrong I bought the book as a 3.5 unrestored and they gave it a 1.5 no tape and nice pages

  11. There was a copy of Action 1 in the wall they found on a remodel right. Back in the 40's comic books would have made great installation
