  1. Thats a permanent collection piece! A gorgeous copy.
  2. So, it’s the submitters fault that CGC folded/crunched the corner. I’m with you now. CGC are doing what they are asked to do. You've made the call to sub the book, no one else. There are books that just don't make good encapsulation candidates. It's up to you to make the call.
  3. A book without a massive vulnerable edge overhang. Use your common sense, not your sense to be a victim in the situation.
  4. Personally, I never would have slabbed that book. It doesn't loo like it was ever a suitable candidate for encapsulation.
  5. On the #102, I completely agree. It's been late starter, but the attention is coming. An old label always helps the result too. I think there's a case for the 9.2 pulling down the result of the 9.6. $1,356 vs $2,450. You decide.
  6. My take is the conversation starts getting interesting with high pop key's. MJ's, and newsstand variants start getting pulled out from the herd for a price bump.
  7. I'm seeing only the books that started early in the price run, starting to soften up now. There's always going to be a certain amount of cyclic movement to the price growth on a book. Books late to the party are still climbing, and there's many sub-markets doing their own thing too.
  8. #93 never comes up for a sale in grade, but that result is particularly strong. Ditto, on the MCU speculation theory
  9. It was a bizarre take on things. A show filler subject??
  10. I have to ask, what was the damage on the pair of these??
  11. Jessica was a revelation, I didn't think they could have eclipsed Francesca Annis in her prime.
  12. Not responding to new orders, and putting them on a shelf for a few months is the same thing as a shutdown. What CGC is doing is just massaging the optics for the consumer. No shut down, but a heck of a long wait instead
  13. Read the feedback, guys are handing over major amounts of shekels for a nice ebay photoshop picture, and a book that will come back as a VF+ on a 9.6 listing.
  14. Thee's hope for humanity, the time eternal adage "buy the book, not the grade", may be beginning to sink in.
