  1. What followed Mile High? I've never considered the order of these coming to light. Of course, some came to light in that a dealer acquired them, maybe moved a few, but sat on the bulk of them.
  2. I work for a digital games publishers, and bots routinely defeat recpatcha and other measures. We rely on these tools, but also on manual approval. It’s a real p.i.t.a.
  3. Didn’t it’s emergence shape the hobby and the pursuit of pedigrees? Would the hobby be what it is if it hadn’t surfaced then?
  4. Some Perez Wonder Woman #1's up, Wonder Man Sienkiewicz up, some Warlock comics up. Thanos Quest sold super fast and is gone though. https://www.ebay.com/str/heroesasylum
  5. I've never been interested in SDCC, but this has me wanting to save my pennies for Torpedo.
  6. I'm on episode 7 or 8 and enjoying this one. @revat I am really enjoying the music, but Bushmaster's acting is a bit sub-par for me. Having him use what I'm guessing is supposed to be capoeira as a fighting style seemed strange to me, for such a large man. I had a hard time believing those fight scenes. But I still dig the show and will keep watching it and any future seasons for sure.
  7. I agree. There’s really no reason to pay someone for such a simple task. Blogs are a dime a dozen and don’t require special skills to create.
  8. Wes sent me a lovely Young Love. Great transaction all around. Thanks!
  9. I'm not sure how many times I've bought from Mike now, but I keep going back for more. Solid, stand up seller with nice books at good prices and solid grading. Thanks again!
  10. I highly recommend Dan Gearino's Comic Shop book. https://dangearino.com/2017/03/31/82/ It came out last October and is fully titled Comic Shop: The Retail Mavericks Who Gave Us a New Geek Culture.
  11. For those who are curious, here is Gary Arlington. I recommend reading Comic Shop, fascinating stuff. That's where I found this photo just now.
  12. Yeah, Google captures the hell out of your voice analytics. But you can tell it to play music, tell you the weather, take a call, make a call, play some word games, create a shopping list, and on and on. I want to offload some of that from my computer while I work. Plus, I use Google Suite and tools rather extensively, so I am certain to find lots of unexpected, pleasant features. Plus, I give Google my voice print for eternity!
  13. https://www.ebay.com/str/heroesasylum Lots of new stuff up today! Some sweet high grade run fillers for you DD collectors.
  14. Well, I skipped the 15% coupon, but the Mini got me. I'm going to stick that in my home office where I work. Thanks for the tip.
  15. I refrained from buying anything but was pleased to sell a Darknight Returns set. The buyer was smart. He messaged me and asked if I would accept a specific dollar amount, while referencing the coupon and asking to conclude the transaction by the end time. I replied yes, with an offer for his amount and got paid right away. Then I immediately sent the money to a boardie to pay off a sweet Raboy Captain Midnight.
  16. Wolverine by Claremont & Miller hardcover up. Conan Archives vol 1 BWS hardcover up. Lots of nice sets and very affordable items. I'm pricing well below market on the non-comics, and below market on the comics. Check out my new store: https://www.ebay.com/str/heroesasylum
  17. Found this two at my LCS's mini-con today. It was a snag at $6.
  18. Got this for $14 at a local mini-con today. Just think, that wannabe mild peddler almost got away with it!
  19. Gary reached out to me about some Sienkiewicz comics in a recent sales thread I ran. Easy transaction, nice guy to work with, would be happy to swamp comics and dollars again.
