  1. Weird Horrors #1, CGC 7.0, $350 SOLD! Cultist cover. Short lived series from St John's. Book has been pressed.
  2. Strange Terrors #4, CGC 6.0, $300 SOLD! Classic Ekgren cover. I haven't found much information about this artist, but Ekgren was a Norwegian fine artist who did just three comic covers, each of them strangely trippy more than a decade before psychedelia took over the USA. Book has been pressed.
  3. I have one small bid out. It's $5 away from losing, so I'm probably done in ~13 hours. The featured auction is the one I need to escape from without harm though.
  4. I need several Marvel Fanfare, but not those two. If you have more, let's talk via PM. I have other CA comics I'm after, if you have more high grade copies you're considering for sale.
  5. Really close to finishing the Miller run. I will crack these out.
  6. So what do you have on hand? Show us your splash page...
  7. I recently bought a Moon Knight #13 from Heroes in Charlotte, NC. On the outside it's probably vf or so, but on the inside, it's all Cream of the Jest. So... creamy...
  8. Captain America 111, 7.0, $40 Steranko again, duh right? The usual not as white as you want it to be white that you see on this comic, and others of its era
  9. Captain America 110, 6.5, $35 Steranko art, really nice interior pages, looks better but angle it in the light to see the wear and indentations
  10. Amazing Spider-Man 65, 3.0-3.5, $30 John Romita written on front cover, lots of visible wear, front and back.
  11. So here is the skinny on any raw signature books that I post. I bought these from Bob's Comics in Birmingham, AL. The eponymous owner said that he bought a very large collection, most of which was garbage (go figure), but that the seller had spent 5 or 6 years going to cons and getting signatures. There were a lot of these sig books out, really cool to see. So that's all I know about their provenance.
  12. Green Lama #6, F-, $499 Class Raboy cover. I don't know if it was pressed, but it sure as heck looks like it's been pressed. Structurally, a very nice copy, much higher than assigned grade. Good colors, just really heavy tanning on the front bottom and leading up the outside edge, and back cover obviously tanned. It must've been poking out from a stack for too long. Clean and flat copy. Hard to find nice copies of this in my experience.
