  1. Shameless self-production. Get into my sales thread now, or Thanos bullies you.
  2. Holy cow?! How did Robert outdo himself? I don't know how he did it, but somehow, he did. Here, let me enumerate the ways: 1. This amply-sized box of comics was taped about all open edges. Not too much, not too little. It was Goldilocks good. Even more, I opened the box and found two pieces of foam cut to fit the interior. The comic itself, a slab, was enclosed in the obligatory cardboard sandwich and sitting on top of packing peanuts. Oh man, that black foam. That did it. The perfect pack job. 2. Even better, I can now use the same box and packaging to send him the comics that he's due as part of our transaction. He doesn't even know this, but he's gonna get that sweet box and those sweet custom-cut foam blocks back in his crib. The usual stuff is usual. The book is what he said it is, it looks even better in person, and it fills an unsightly gap in my collection.
  3. Sweet sweet bomics, sweet sweet packaging. Great transaction, great boardie, thanks!
  4. I swear, he could've shipped me a raw egg in that packaging and it would've arrived intact. Comics were just as described, protected several times over in packaging, and shipped right away. Good stuff!
  5. Shayne bought a slabbed Marvel Super-Heroes 12 from me, and it went off without a hitch. A solid boardie for doing business. Thanks, sir, and enjoy the bomic!
  6. Hold until at least castings are announced for the upcoming TV show. I sold mine a couple of weeks ago for a nice profit. I marked mine up a good deal from what I paid for them (BB 54, BB60, and TT1, all CGC) and people didn't even bother to make an offer. Maybe I underpriced them, but they were in line with GPA and a good bit more than I paid for them. You can turn a pretty penny on them already, but ya, they still have room to climb.
  7. I purchased a FF 67 from Point Five, because I can't apparently own enough copies. A great transaction all the way around.
  8. Roy has hooked me up with more than one major book. This time it was a Strange Tales 110. Thanks so much, sir!
  9. Andrew bought a Marvel Spotlight 32 from me and it went off without a hitch. I'd be happy to transact with him again.
  10. Yeah, I asked for pics. He said, "I'll get those right away!" And then nothing. I sent another message and received no reply.
  11. Jim sold me a FF 48 that was tightly graded, packaged safely, and shipped fast. Was very pleasant to deal with as well. Thank you, sir!
  12. MCMiles, love those Amethyst. I remember reading those, and Arion. (thumbs u
  13. Hey there, EnSabahNur. WTTB! This thread is really just for showing off comics that have come in from CGC. You can start a new thread in Comics General to get questions answered.
  14. I'm collecting the Hawkeye 2012 series. Otherwise, partial Strange Tales run, partial FF run, JIM 83-125, and partial Thor run.
  15. Thanks for the Strange Tales! Smooooth transaction.
  16. Another good transaction with Clinton. Thanks, enjoy the FF!
  17. I've gotten more than one book that way. There are some folks who don't post but will respond to your WTBs.
  18. The water stain is your answer. The lower right corner wear doesn't help either. There's a thread here talking about water stains I did that once. Bought the notes and learned there was a popped staple. It's one of those "How did miss that?" things, but what's there to do?
  19. The Untold Story about Marvel comics, and The Ox-Bow Incident by Walter Van Tilburg Clark. Does the first one count? I mean, it's not a comic after all.
  20. Sold me a lovely FF 173 9.8. Not sure how many times I've got from Robert now, but I keep going back.
  21. Does anyone have good profile settings for VueScan?
