Happy New Year, one and all! This community has done something remarkable in buoying James during his health crisis. To the tune of almost $30,000.00, boardies have donated wonderful items, some with substantial monetary value and collector interest, and others opened their wallets to snag something unique and, more important, to help jimbo (a friend of jesus) . Along the way, many people have shared how James enriched their hobbies by offering hard-to-find comics, nuggets of comics history, and his friendly demeanor. So let's close this out and push our way to $30,000.00. Anyone who has helped a love one recover from a serious health crisis knows that @jimjum12 has a long road ahead. It's hard work, both physically and mentally, and with the life complications outlined in this thread's first post, our generosity will go a long way towards helping him recover his health and resume normalcy.

I have updated our spreadsheet for new donations from page 22 to this post. I would like to politely request that people on DMs refrain from too much social chatter as the comms on this are super busy. Sharon also maintains communication with James and other helpers, so there's a lot to track. Reducing DM chatter will help her and us work efficiently and keep some balance with personal affairs. - is Sharon-shorthand for "I acknowledge your message and am marking this thread read to help manage comms", so no reply is needed unless you have updates on payment/shipment. - Sending donations to Jimbo's PayPal via personal friends & family helps a great deal. Because Sharon has spoken to a PayPal representative, the company is essentially waiving scrutiny on personal payments so long as you include a note "Get better, James!" or something to that effect. - If you make a goods & services payment, it's still a transaction and funds may be held (and have been already) until tracking is provided. If you can't do friends and family for whatever reason, please provide a tracking number as PayPal is calling for these to release any funds made using Goods & Services.
